  • Women’s Field Hockey: Tryouts, today and Thursday 3:30-5:00 Colonel Gray.  
  • Men’s A Soccer: Thursday 5:00-7:00pm Coop field.
  • Men’s AAA Soccer: First cuts have been posted in the gym. Next try-out will be today at 3:30pm at Colonel Gray.
  • Women’s AAA Soccer: Next session today at 3:30pm at Coop field.
  • Colonel Gray girls volleyball team is hosting workout sessions outside for any girls who might be thinking about trying out for volleyball! These workouts are not mandatory! We are meeting in the gym everyday after school and will move outside to the field! Everyone who is interested in trying out for women’s volleyball is more than welcome to come out!”



  • Hey students! We are looking for 2 students to represent the students of Colonel Gray on the District Advisory Council. The work entails 3-4 meetings this year, all in the evening, to discuss topics related to education. If you are interested, please leave a note in the main office with your name, grade level and your email address and  Ms. Lecours will touch base with you.  All interested students should have their names in by tomorrow. Anyone that has ordered lunch from the healthy Lunch Program, it will be delivered each day at 11:40 to the cafeteria.
  • School Photos: Attention students, Picture Day is coming Wednesday, September 23rd and Thursday, September 24th.
    After Picture Day, you can order pictures on using your Portrait ID and Access Code which can be found on your Picture Day order form.
  • Library Monitor: Those students interested in volunteering at the library are invited to a meeting Thurs at 12 in Library Room 112 . The hours you work can be used towards the Community service  bursary.
  • The Student Transit Program is running again this year at Colonel Gray High School. If you would like to receive a free transit pass to use unlimitedly for the 2020/21 school year please check the email in your cloud account you have received from our Principal Ms. Lecours. The instructions are very clear and when you receive your confirmation bring it to Mrs. Profit in the library. Registration ends Oct. 15.
  • The breakfast program is available every morning in the Learning Centre. There are grab and go items such as bagels, yogurt, fruit, juice and milk. The Learning Centre is directly across from the main office. It is free and all are welcome!
  • Any grade 10 girls interested in playing AAA volleyball this year are asked to go to room 112 in the Library for a short meeting regarding the upcoming season. If you can’t make it to the meeting today, you can stop by and see Ms.Beck after school.
