Athletics:

  • “AAA” Girls soccer play in the Semi-final game today at Three Oaks.
  • “AAA” Boys Soccer play Charlottetown Rural at home in the semi final game today.
  • Power Lifting team-Wellness Center today at lunch.

Meetings:

  • All students who missed the final Duke of E journey, a meeting will be held tomorrow at lunch to discuss the make-up trip. It is important that you attend.
  • Would you like to work in politics someday? Do you enjoy making your point and winning an argument? Come and develop some abilities that will make you a stronger debater. Join the debate club every Thursday in the Lecture Theatre at lunch.
  • Any grade 12 student wanting to be considered for a Rotary $1500 STRIVE bursary are invited to the first meeting today at lunch in room 139.
  • Red Cross Club meeting today at 12 noon in room 117.
  • There will be a meeting on Friday for anyone interested in a Colonel Gray Relay for Life. This event helps raise money and awareness for the Canadian Cancer Society. The meeting will be at 11:40 in room 117, bring your lunch!

Notices:

  • Haunted basement dress rehearsal today at lunch and after school. It is mandatory that all members attend!
  • Reminder to all SILVER Duke of Edinburgh Candidates, your FINAL Report is due tomorrow. Please submit online in the google classroom. For more details, see Mrs. Lee.
  • Today is the last day to get your tickets for the Halloween Dance tomorrow, October 25th, from 7-10. Tickets are on sale for $5 from your block A teacher. If you don’t have a block A, please ask your Block B teacher.
  • Are you looking for some volunteer hours to complete the requirements of a course?  We need 3-5 volunteers on Friday morning starting at 7:30am and another group at the end of the day, also on Friday.  If interested, come sign up in the main office.
  • For students auditioning this week for We Will Rock You, auditions will take place in the Lecture Theatre. Please come a few minutes early and wait outside the lecture until you are asked to come in.  Don’t forget to bring 4 copies of your information sheet. There are still some spots open for later in the week, so if you do not have a time, but want to audition, go to the band room as soon as possible to sign up for a spot.

Student Services:

  • St. Mary’s University will be visiting Student Services today for any interested students.
  • Annual Coats For Kids Campaign: Donations may be left in the bin outside Student Services by Friday, Oct. 26th.  Jackets, snowsuits, hats, mitts, boots, etc. (from infant through adult sizes) are all appreciated.

 Teachers, today is Supervision Day 6.
