Athletics:

  • The baseball team will be playing its first playoff game this Friday night at 6:00pm at Memorial Field.

Meetings:

  • Making Waves will meet today at 11:40 in room 243.
  • There will be an important final Duke meeting for all Silver and Bronze participants today at lunch.Please remember to upload your practice journey report prior to the meeting.
  • The Mumbo Jumbo Street Slang Gang meets today at 11:45 in Room 215. If you’re interested in rap, poetry, or lyrics, come out and meet some like-minded people.
  • The Red Cross Club will be meeting today at lunch in room 117. All are welcome!
  • The New Environmental Club will be meeting TODAY in room 330 at lunch. Come help Colonel Gray be a greener school.
  • Free the Children will be having an executive meeting tomorrow in room 330.
  • Important registration meeting for everyone going to KEY Leader in Mrs. Lee’s room on Friday at 11:40. There is an online component to the registration that needs to be completed.

Notes:

  • Student Council is looking for grade 10 representatives to serve on the executive. Interested candidates can pick up an application on the student council office door, or from Mrs. Charlton in Room 214.  Applications are due by 3:10 on Thursday, October 3rd. 

Student Services:

  • The Workers Compensation Board is seeking two Gr. 11 or 12 students for its Occupational Health and Safety Leadership Program at our school. Students who are selected and complete all program requirements will receive $500 at the end of the school year. For more information, go the WCB website, click on the hard hat, and look for the OHS Leadership button. Applications are due October 4th, so grab a friend and apply today!

  • Today is the deadline for any students interested in the Page Program. More information is available on the Student Services bulletin board.

Teachers, today is a supervision day 2.
