Athletics:

  • Both our volleyball teams are participating in semi-final games today, with the men at Bluefield at 6 and the women hosting TOSH at 5:30.
  • Reminder!!! Field Hockey and soccer players, please return your jersey to Mrs. Lindsay as soon as possible.

Meetings:

  • Attention all those who have been involved with the Environmental Club! There will be a meeting tomorrow at lunch in the art room. Bring a newbie and let’s get more people involved.
  • There will be a Film Club meeting tomorrow at lunch in room 103.

Notes:

  • All students writing the Canadian Open Mathematics Challenge are reminded to be in the library at 8:50 on Thursday morning.
  • Everyone that participated in the Haunted Basement, clean up is today at lunch. Please come and clean out your room.
  • Student Council will be selling school merchandise this Thursday at lunch in the cafeteria. We have sweaters for $35 & $45, long sleeve tees for $25, stickers for $2 and new clear tumblers for $15. We will also be set up at interviews on Thursday night – so send your parents with your gift wish list that evening.
  • Thursday morning at 9:00 am, poppies will be distributed to all students. KEY Club will also collect donations for the Legion Poppy Campaign at this time. Be sure to bring some change and support our veterans!

Student Services:

  • St. Mary’s University will be waiving their normal application fee and doing on-the-spot admissions on Thursday at lunch, while University of Toronto will be here after school on Thursday.

  • Reminder to students who are planning to take advantage of the free application opportunities at UPEI and Holland College on Friday to also sign up on-line, so that they know you are coming. Instructions are just above the transcript order sheets on the table in Student Services.
  • Official transcripts are now ready for the Holland College and UPEI Open Houses on Friday and can be picked up in Student Services today. Cost is $2 each.
