Teen Parenting Sessions

Thursday, October 22nd – 6:00-8:00 pm – Coping with Teenagers Emotions.

            Location – Stratford Town Hall (234 Shakespeare Drive), Southport Room.

Tuesday, October 27th – 2:00-4:00 pm – Reducing Family Conflict

            Location – Stratford Town Hall (234 Shakespeare Drive), Southport Room.

Ages 0-12 Parenting Sessions

Tuesday, October 6th – 2:00-4:00 pm – Dealing with Disobedience

            Location – Stratford Town Hall (234 Shakespeare Drive), Southport Room. 

Coping with Teenagers Emotions: This session looks at some of the reasons why teenagers can become emotional and gives some practical suggestions to help you teach your teenager how to manage their emotions, and manage any problems if you need to.

Dealing with Disobedience: This session looks at some of the reasons why children may not do as they’re told, and gives some practical suggestions to help prevent disobedience and teach your child limits, and manage any problems if you need to. 

Reducing Family Conflict: This session looks at some of the reasons why teenagers get into fights and arguments and gives some practical suggestions to help you teach your teenager to solve problems peaceably, and manage any problems if you need to.

Tuesday, December 1st – 2:00-4:00 pm – Dealing with Disobedience.

Getting Teenagers to Cooperate: This session looks at some of the reasons why teenagers can be uncooperative and gives some practical suggestions to help you teach your teenager to cooperate with your requests, and manage any problems if you need to.

Building Teenagers Survival Skills: This session looks at some of the reasons why teenagers can get into trouble and gives some practical suggestions to help you teach your teenager how to anticipate and manage problem situations. It also provides a step-by-step guide on how to discuss this with your teenager in a positive and supportive way.

Managing Fighting and Aggression: This session looks at some of the reasons why siblings fight, and gives some practical suggestions to help you prevent problems by teaching your children to play cooperatively and resolve conflicts with each other, and manage any problems with fighting and aggression between them if you need to.
