Athletics:

  • There will be a very important meeting this Wednesday at the beginning of lunch in room 116 for anyone planning to play on the baseball team.

Meetings:

  • Duke of E meeting Wednesday at lunch in room 140.
  • Math Club today at lunch in room 244.
  • Improv Club meeting today at lunch in room 215.

Notices:

  • Anyone interested in a leadership role for Free the Children come to room 129 today at lunch.
  • Come to Space Disco Club this Friday in room 244! This week’s theme 90’s icons!
  • All students interested in volunteering for the Art Club at Queen Charlotte, come to room 140 Wednesday after school for a meeting.
  • All people interested in KEY Leader conference Oct 12-14th please see Mrs. Lee in room 140 at lunch on Friday
  • Picture day is this Thursday and Friday.  They will be taken on the stage in the cafeteria.    Students will be called down in alphabetical order throughout the day.
    All staff are reminded to have their picture taken during prep or before or after school this year.
  • Club Fair, Wednesday, September 19th. Info will be available on the clubs all day, set up in booths on the stage in the cafeteria. Representatives will be present all of lunch to answer questions and talk about club activities.

Student Services:

  • Junior Achievement will have an information booth in the Main Lobby during lunch on Tuesday & Wednesday, Sept. 18 & 19th.  Recruitment is taking place for Grade 10–12 students interested in the After School Company Program.
  • St. F.X. University from Nova Scotia will be visiting the school on Wednesday at lunch for any interested students.
  • The Workers Compensation Board is seeking two Grade 11 or 12 students for it’s Occupational Health & Safety Leadership Program at our school. Students who are selected, and complete all program requirements, will receive $500 at the end of the school year. Deadline is Sept. 28th. Check on the Student Services bulletin board for more information.
