Athletics:

  • The baseball game that was scheduled for last Friday between Colonel Gray and Montague will be today at 6:00pm at Memorial Field.

Meetings:

  • There will be an open student council meeting in Room 214 during lunch today. All are welcome.
  • There will be a meeting Wednesday at lunch for all GOLD Level Duke of Edinburgh award participants. All Silver and Bronze, remember to submit your final reports for approval in the google classroom by October 16.
  • There will be a meeting for anyone interested in participating in the Haunted Basement in the Lecture Theatre today at lunch.
  • The first Debate Club meeting will be this Thursday in room 151. New members are encouraged to check it out.
  • The Red Cross Club will be meeting Wednesday at lunch in room 117, all are welcome!

Notes:

  • There are lots of things happening on Thursdays in October. Next Thursday, the 17th – join us for a tailgate party to kick of the start of the Wall of Fame Cup. Come cheer on the soccer teams as they compete against the Rural, and enjoy live music, activities, a photo booth, face painting, hot chocolate, merchandise sales and food truck goodies. Tailgate to start at 3:30 in the teacher’s parking lot.
  • Thursday, October 24th – come to Homecoming! Get dressed up and dance the night away.
  • Thursday, October 31st – Halloween dress up & lunch time activities.
  • Are you interested in science, math or leadership? or other cool opportunities? Come to the first Youth for Youth Club meeting today at lunch in room 139. There will also be free pizza!
  • Any Grade 12 student interested in taking part in the STRIVE Program this year are asked to sign up in Student Services. This program is an excellent program and there will be 6 $1500.00 bursary recipients selected at the end of this program. The first meeting for STRIVE will be on October 23 at 11:40. There will be a reminder prior to this time. Please sign up in Student Services if you are interested in learning more about this program.

Student Services:

  • Vancouver Film School will be in Student Services at lunch today and University of Western Ontario on Wednesday, Oct. 9.

Teachers, today is a supervision day 6.
