  • Congratulations to the “AAA” Girls soccer who defeated Bluefield last night to move on to the Semi-finals on Wednesday at Three Oaks.
  • “AAA” Boys Soccer will practice today at 3:30. They play Charlottetown Rural at home in the semi finals on Wednesday.
  • The field hockey team will be playing for Bronze Wednesday at 4 @ UPEI vs Bluefield after a tough 2-0 semifinal loss.


  • There will be a TedEd Club’s booth in the main lobby during lunch today. Come check us out!
  • All students who missed the final Duke of E journey, a meeting will be held on THURSDAY at lunch to discuss the make-up trip. It is important that you attend.
  • STRIVE information Meeting will be held tomorrow, Wednesday, October 24th at lunch in Room 139.  Please make sure you attend.
  • Would you like to work in politics someday? Do you enjoy making your point and winning an argument? Come and develop some abilities that will make you a stronger debater. Join the debate club every Thursday in the Lecture Theatre at lunch.
  • There will be a Red Cross Club meeting today at 12 noon in room 117. This is not a mistake..there will be a meeting today!


  • Reminder to all SILVER Duke of Edinburgh Candidates, your FINAL Report is due Thursday. Please submit online in the google classroom. For more details, see Mrs. Lee.
  • Reminder of the Halloween Dance Thursday evening, October 25th, from 7-10. Costumes are optional but there will be prizes for the best ones. No masks, though. Tickets are on sale for $5 from your block A teacher. If you don’t have a block A, please ask your Block B teacher. Make sure to get your ticket before Wednesday, October 24th.
  • Are you looking for some volunteer hours to complete the requirements of a course?  We need 3-5 volunteers on Friday morning starting at 7:30AM and another group at the end of the day, also on Friday.  If interested, come sign up in the main office.
  • For students auditioning this week for We Will Rock You, auditions will take place in the Lecture Theatre. Please come a few minutes early and wait outside the lecture until you are asked to come in.  Don’t forget to bring 4 copies of your information sheet.
    There are still some spots open for later in the week, so if you do not have a time, but want to audition, go to the band room as soon as possible to sign up for a spot.

Student Services:

  • St. Mary’s University will be visiting Student Services on Wednesday, Oct. 24th for any interested students.
  • Annual Coats For Kids Campaign: Donations may be left in the bin outside Student Services by Friday, Oct. 26th.  Jackets, snowsuits, hats, mitts, boots, etc. (from infant through adult sizes) are all appreciated.
  • Today is the last day for STRIVE sign up in Student Services.  If you are interested in this grade 12 bursary program, please sign up by the end of today.

 Teachers, today is Supervision Day 5.
