Athletics:

  • Anyone interested in basketball scorekeeping this year, please see Mrs. Lindsay in the gym. No experience necessary, we can teach you!
  • We’re looking for student volunteers for the Gray Cup on November 29th and 30th. Please see Mrs. Lindsay if interested.

Meetings:

  • The Red Cross Club will be meeting today at lunch to make crafts for their Christmas float.
  • Can the power lifting team please meet in the gym for a brief meeting at 11:40.

Notes:

  • A representative from Waterloo University will be in room 244 at lunch on Thursday of this week for a session on problem solving in mathematics. Anyone interested in welcome to join.
  • Bake sale tomorrow at lunch in the main lobby. All proceeds will be going to the Humane Society.
  • Are you interested in cool T-shirt design? Come to the main lobby tomorrow at lunch to get some high quality T-shirts or you can bring your own T-shirts or clothing for customizing. See you there!
  • Tomorrow there will be an International Coffee House from 7-9pm, doors open at 6:45pm. Come out for a great night of food, fun & entertainment. Admission is free but a donation of $3-5 is suggested to help offset costs.
  • Students who signed up for the Tuesday shift of tutoring at the Math and Science Centre have to be in the conference room of the library at lunch today.

  • Attention Colonels! Do you need help with math or science? Are you struggling with some math homework problems or science concepts? Come to the math and science help centre in the conference room of the library during lunches. We are open to all students every day.
  • Interested in Volunteering towards your Community Service Bursary? There are opportunities with the City of Charlottetown in the Events and Sustainability Departments. There will be an information session on Wednesday, November 27th over lunch in Room 139. Mrs. Branton’s room. Bring your lunch and learn more about this volunteer opportunity that will provide hands-on experience and a range of applicable skills for the job market.

Student Services:

  • Mount Saint Vincent University will be here on Wednesday after school and will be waiving their normal application fee.

  • Saint Francis Xavier University will be here on Thursday at lunch. Also, same evening from 7 – 9 p.m., Mount Allison University will have an information session at the Holiday Inn Express where they will be waiving their application fee.

Teachers, today is a supervision day 6.
