  • There will be a second men’s AA basketball team try out this evening from 530-7.
  • Fall athletes who have not returned their uniforms yet will not be allowed to participate in intramurals or other school athletics until those uniforms are returned. Please bring your uniforms in by the end of the day on Friday to avoid being charged for the cost of the uniform.
  • Any girls interested in playing for the second women’s basketball team at Colonel Gray are asked to give their name to Mrs. Lindsay by the end of the day today. There will be a try out on Sunday from 3:30-4:30 and we want to make sure we have enough girls.
  • We are still looking for score-keepers and volunteers for the Gray Cup Men’s Basketball tournament that begins next Thursday, November 30th. Please see Mrs. Lindsay if you are interested in helping out.
  • Early morning badminton club tomorrow (Friday). Start time is 7:45.  IF SCHOOL IS DELAYED OR CLOSED, SO WILL BADMINTON CLUB.  All new members welcomed!
  • 11:50 The Plantain Boys vs The Pylons and The Dubs vs Ze Min.
  • 12:05 Big Baller Brand vs In 1st Place and The Queen vs Team Chad.


  • Last call for tree and wreath tickets.  Please see Mr. Doiron at lunch. All ticket stubs, money, and unsold tickets MUST be returned to Mr. Doiron this Monday, November 27th at lunch time or after school.  No exceptions.
  • Little Big Band will rehearse this Thursday at lunch and Monday morning.


  • Reminder to go to the cafeteria today at lunch for the Mummy Challenge and a chance to win a Tim’s gift card.
  • Today is Day 4 of CG’s Key club week and the activity of the day is “A Random Act of Kindness” Key Club fact of the day: Bill Clinton, Elvis Presley and Brad Pitt were once all Key Club members.
  • Come to Space Disco this Friday in room 244! This weeks theme is “Giant”.
  • A reminder to the class of 2018:  Some of you have not yet booked a Grad photo appointment.  Even if you do not plan to purchase graduate photos with Lifetouch Photography, you need to book an appointment in the library to be on the 2018 Grad Composite on the walls of Colonel Gray!

Student Services:

  • Are you a student who is always talking politics, who wants to change the world or who stands up for democracy? Engaged young leaders are invited to apply for a week session to represent Colonel Gray at the 2018 Forum For Young Canadians Program in Ottawa.   The deadline is Nov. 24. Check in Student Services for more information and session dates.
