  • Could the following students please see Mrs. Lindsay at morning break today in the gym:  Brett Curley, Tsring Tamang, Brian Lawt, Juan Cardona, Amir Sayafi.
  • Volleyball players must have their uniforms in by Friday at the latest.
  • Anyone interested in basketball scorekeeping this year, please see Mrs. Lindsay in the gym. No experience necessary, we can teach you!
  • We’re looking for student volunteers for the Gray Cup on November 29th and 30th. Please see Mrs. Lindsay if interested.
  • There will be club badminton beginning this Sunday, from 3-5. This will run every Sunday from now on unless otherwise noted.
  • Power-lifting practice today after school!


  • Free the Children is having a meeting today at lunch in the Art Room 330. All are welcome to join.
  • The Debate Club will meet today after school in room 151. New members are always welcome.


  • Are you interested in a free transit pass with T3 Transit? You can sign up for a transit pass Thursday, November 28th, by attending a meeting at lunch in the library. This will take the entire break so please bring your lunches. If you have any questions, please see Mrs.Profit in the Library.

  • The music department will be selling fudge all week long in the main foyer, $3 a sleeve!

  • Heckberts will be in the cafeteria at lunch today to assist students with picture ordering for those wishing to have grad photos before Christmas.
  • Attention Colonels! Do you need help with math or science? Come to the Math and Science Help Centre in the conference room in the Library during lunches. We will be open to all students every day.
  • Time for today’s Occupational Health and Safety question: Today’s question is….True or False? If a worker exercises their right to refuse unsafe work, the employer can refuse to pay them and/or terminate their employment. Think you know the answer? Drop it in the box in student services or dm it to @ohs_colonels on Instagram. Congratulations to Vee Chatterjee for winning yesterday’s trivia question! 
  • Interested in Volunteering towards your Community Service Bursary? There are opportunities with the City of Charlottetown in the Events and Sustainability Departments. There will be an information session on Wednesday, November 27th over lunch in Room 139. Bring your lunch and learn more about this volunteer opportunity that will provide hands-on experience and a range of applicable skills for the job market.

Student Services:

  • Acadia University will be in Student Services today at lunch. They will also be waiving their normal application fee for all students doing on-the-spot registration.

  • Also today, Memorial University (from Newfoundland) will be in Student Services after school.

  • On Nov. 27, Mount St. Vincent University will be visiting after school (waiving application fee) and St. Francis Xavier University at lunch on Nov. 28.

Teachers, today is a supervision day 3.
