Athletics:

  • Due to Parent teacher interviews there will be no basketball practices tonight. Please check with Mr. Cheverie before the end of today for any updates to practice times for the weekend.
  • Volleyball and Soccer players are asked to return their cleaned uniforms to Mr. Cheverie as soon as possible.

Graduates:

  • Hey Potential Grads! Don’t forget to sign up for the Grads 2021 Google classroom. The code was sent in a previous email to your school cloud account.
  • Reminder! In order to get your grad pictures from Heckbert’s delivered on December 17, you must order by Nov. 24. This will also include 8 free wallet size pictures. Students/Parents can order online on Heckbert’s website with Paypal, by phone with credit card or etransfer or if they prefer to use a cheque, by mail. If anyone has any questions they can contact Kristen kristen@heckbertstuio.com.

Meetings:

  • There will be a Filmmaking Club meeting today in room 103 at lunch. All Welcome.
  • Colonel Gray’s Gender and Sexuality Alliance (GSA) will be meeting today at lunch in Mr. MacCormack’s room, 151. See you there!

Notes:

  • All orders for the School Food Program need to be ordered by tomorrow, November 20th by 9:00am for the upcoming 2 weeks!
  • Colonel Gray is having a student Occupational Health and Safety team running events at school and through social media again this year. This year’s representatives are grade 12 students Kylee Bustard and Lauren Smith. They will be hosting four events throughout the school year to promote OHS. The first event starts next week and is a virtual scavenger hunt. Take a photo with a certain item and send it to @colonel_gray.ohs on Instagram to be entered in a daily draw to win a $10 gift card.

Student Services:

  • UPEI will be having a virtual fall open house on Friday, Nov. 20 from 10–11:30 a.m. Register at upei.ca/openhouse for discounted application fees, a virtual campus tour, student services fair, live-streamed faculty information sessions, and for chances to win prizes.  See poster in Student Services for more information.
  • Any students interested in attending Bishop’s University should attend a virtual presentation with one of their recruiters on Monday, November 23rd at 11:45 in room 139.  See Mr. Peterson for details.
