Graduation:

  • For prom dance, a parent, Mary Dow-Zakem, is putting together a slideshow to play during the prom. If you have pictures from your school years or events at the Gray, please send to : mgdow1@gmail.com.  We would like to have all the grads in the slideshow but you need to send pictures to make it happen!   
  • Prom bracelets will go on sale June 3rd – 7th in the library for $15.  They will be available in the morning, between breaks and afterschool.  Do not come at lunch or in the middle of class to get them.  After the 7th, they will still be available, but the price goes up to $20.  If you are a grad, you must sign for your own bracelet. 

Notes:

  • Reminder tonight is the International banquet, doors open at 7pm. with the event starting at 7:30, please have your ticket with you to enter. This is a formal event so make sure to dress up.
  • Collection bins for the bottle drive will be located under the main staircase in the lobby and in the cafeteria in front of the stage. The bottle drive will run from May 24-June 7.
  • Are you up for some school spirit?  Tomorrow is “Rainbow Day” at Colonel Gray!  Wear your wildest, brightest, and most colorful clothes!  And, be on the lookout for members of the spirit club handing out stickers!  There will also be a spirit club meeting today at lunch in the Lecture Theatre – new members always welcome!
  • Tickets will be on sale today for Graysino! Get your ticket for $5 from your Block C teacher this week.
  • Hello fellow Colonels, we invite you to come to our bake sale today by the main doors at lunch. We will have cookies, brownies, fudge and cupcakes. All the profits will go to First Nations Child & Family Caring Society. They are a nonprofit organization that will distribute the funds where they are needed the most to help out indigenous people in Canada. Be sure to stop by for some delicious baked goods.
  • Anyone who wants to volunteer with youth empowerment program to mentor junior high students, Information meeting today at 12 in room 139.
  • The Red Cross Club will be selling jumbo freezies in the lobby on Friday for a $1. Stop by for a sweet treat!
  • Summer School is now active through MyBluePrint. Summer school starts July 3-August 14, 2019.

Teachers, today is a supervision day 5.
