  • Congratulations goes out to Colonel Gray’s poets who performed at the receiver last night: Cat MacCannell, Jim MacLean, and Maddy Lockman.  A huge congratulations to Maddy who finished in second place with her excellent poetry and to Cat who was the overall winner and crowned “the Island’s best performance poet!”
  • There will be an important, brief meeting for anyone who is interested in track and field in the Lecture Theatre on Thursday at 12:15.
  • Distracted Driving Fact #7: One survey showed that the majority of Canadians believe that distracted driving is a serious road safety problem.

  • On Thursday, May 4th, UPEI will be at the school offering registration sessions for grads to sign up for fall courses.   These sessions will be held at lunch hour and after school (until approximately 5 p.m.) in Computer Lab 153.
  • The Kidney Foundation of PEI is looking to recruit door to door canvassers to collect on their own street, or a small area near their home.  The campaign takes place in the month of May.  If any Grade 11 or 12 students are interested in accumulating some volunteer hours towards their Community Service Bursary, please check the bulletin board outside Mr. Cox’s office in Student Services.
  • Due to the band trip and no school tomorrow, Safe Grad meeting will be next Thursday, May 4th at noon in Mrs. Bradley’s room.

Teachers, today is a supervision day 1.
