  • Congratulations goes out to Mr. Peterson who won the Moncton Marathon on the week-end. If you see Mr. Peterson today, be sure to give him a high five (if you can reach that high)!
  • “AAA” Boys Soccer will practice after school today at 3:30. Playoff game on Wednesday at 4:00 at Colonel Gray Field.
  • “A” Boys Soccer bus will be leaving for Kensington today at 2:30.   “AAA” Girls Soccer will be playing Bluefield in a playoff game today at Bluefield at 4:00.
  • The field hockey team plays Rural at 5:45 at Cornwall Turf in a semifinal game. Come out and cheer your Colonels on to victory.
  • Congratulations to the Cross Country team, who braved 100 km/hr winds and a sloppy course last Tuesday, going on to win three out of four provincial championships. Individually, the team was led by provincial gold-medalists Sophie Peterson, Emma Germain and Samuel Peterson; silver medalists Grace Richard, Andrew Stewart, Bridget Keedwell and Isaac McCardle and bronze medalists Katie Richard and Jack Morse.


  • KEY Club meets on Monday at 11:50 in the Lecture Theater. Reminder that today is the final day for clothing orders.
  • There will be a Ted Ed Club’s booth in the main lobby during lunch on Monday and Tuesday. Come check us out!


  • Reminder to all SILVER Duke of Edinburgh Candidates, your FINAL Report is due Thursday. Please submit online in the google classroom. For more details, see Mrs. Lee.
  • All students who missed the final Duke of E journey, a meeting will be held on THURSDAY at lunch to discuss the make-up trip. It is important that you attend.
  • There will be a Halloween Dance Thursday evening, October 25th, from 7-10. Costumes are optional but there will be prizes for the best ones. No masks, though. We need to see your beautiful face. Tickets will go on sale today for $5 from your block A teacher. If you don’t have a block A, please ask your Block B teacher. Make sure to get your ticket before Wednesday, October 24th.
  • Rotary will hold an information session on the Rotary Youth Exchange program today at 7:00 PM.  The meeting will take place in the Lecture Theatre at Colonel Gray.  All parents and students interested in finding more about this great adventure are welcome.
  • Are you looking for some volunteer hours to complete the requirements of a course?  We need 3-5 volunteers on Friday morning starting at 7:30AM and another group at the end of the day, also on Friday.  If interested, come sign up in the main office.
  • For students auditioning this week for We Will Rock You, auditions will take place in the Lecture Theatre.  Please come a few minutes early and wait outside the lecture until you are asked to come in.  Don’t forget to bring 4 copies of your information sheet.
    There are still some spots open for later in the week, so if you do not have a time, but want to audition, go to the band room as soon as possible to sign up for a spot.
