Music notes:

Grade 11 & 12 Band will rehearse Wed. and Thursday at 8 AM.

Senior Jazz will rehearse Wed. at 3:15 PM and Friday at 8 AM

Little Big Band …to be announced

 

Meetings/Activities:

There will be an art battle on the stage at lunch Friday. Students will compete to create the best rendition of a Teacher guest (more information on who coming soon). A Gray Nation t-shirt along with bragging rights will be given to the winner. More information and signup sheet will be posted outside the student council office after lunch.

Debate Club debate against the rural in the lecture theatre Wednesday at lunch, all are welcome.

Monday to Thursday this week, all students are encouraged to donate food products during lunch time in the main lobby in order to support and raise awareness of homelessness and hunger in PEI. The Community Food Drive will be on Thursday night from 6-8 pm. Donations will be greatly appreciated.

International Development Week will be celebrated in the Colonel Gray Cafeteria on Feb. 10, 4 pm to 8 pm. All are encouraged to attend. Food and entertainment will be provided. Special guest will be Sean Casey.

Come to Space Disco this Friday to relax from exam prep. This week’s theme is “Candy”.  Room 244 – Mr. MacEwens’

School Supplies Drive – today until Friday. Bring in any extra school supplies you have and drop them into the box that will be in Student Services. All donations are appreciated and will be brought to the Newcomers Society for those in need. Thank you!

Cake Auction in cafeteria this Friday!!  All proceeds  will be donated to The Ocean Cleanup in aid of reducing the pollution of our waters.

Student Services:

Today at lunch time, PEI Parks Canada will set up a recruiting booth outside of Student Services for students interested in summer employment. Many positions are available for both English and bilingual work. This is a great opportunity for Colonel Gray students to line up a job summer for 2018.  Blank application forms are now available in Student Services.
