Athletics:

  • Speedball today: 1) Speed Demons vs The Disappointments 2) The Wolves vs The Swimmers. Speedball Monday 1) The Wolves vs The Disappointments 2) The Dimes vs The Severe Grains.

Meetings:

  • There is an important Making Waves meeting today at lunch in room 243. Be there or else!
  • The Film Club will be meeting today at lunch in room 103.
  • Free the children will be having a meeting today at lunch in the art room 330, all are welcome to join.

Notes:

  • Children’s Wish leadership group will be selling candy canes Monday and Tuesday and distributing Grams on Thursday. Candy canes will be sold for $2 each in the main lobby. Our goal is to raise $500 and we are less than $100 away. Please help us reach our goal!
  • Reminder to all teachers to show their classes the Winter Formal Promo! Tickets go on sale next week.
  • To get the building in the holiday spirit, student council is challenging Block A classes to decorate their doors. You pick the theme and colors. To enter the challenge, doors should be decorated by the end of the day on Tuesday, December 10th. The door deemed the most original and festive will win its class a hot chocolate and treats morning!
  • To help stock up the food bank, student council is challenging Block A classes to bring in food bank donations. We will post a list of the top 5 requested items, which will earn extra points, but any non-perishable food items will be accepted. A box will be placed in Block A classrooms early in December, and collection will take place until Wednesday, December 18th. The class with the most points of collected items will win a hot chocolate and treats morning. Please help out with this worthy cause.
  • Anyone who couldn’t make the meeting with the City officials about volunteer hours with events and sustainability, you can resister with Mrs. Profit in the Library this week.
  • Those still interested in getting a free Transit Pass see Mrs. Profit in the library this week.

  • Attention all girls interested in playing rugby this year. There will be an important meeting today at the start of lunch in room 120.
  • Speedball today: 1) The Wolves vs The Disappointments 2) The Dimes vs The Severe Grains. Speedball Tomorrow 1) Mike’s Disciples vs The Squires 2) The Staff vs The Swimmers.

Meetings:

  • The Making Waves Group will have a meeting tomorrow at 11:40 in room 243.

  • Attention Colonels! Do you need help with math or science? Are you struggling with math problems or science concepts? Come to the math and science help centre in the conference room of the library during lunches. We are open to all students every day.

  • University of Kings College information session is today, Dec. 4 at Delta Prince Edward at 7 p.m. Attendees can take advantage of FREE expedited admissions.

  • Today kicks off our basketball regular season, with Gray 2 women hosting Westisle 2 at 5:30, and our Gray 1 men and women heading to Westisle. Good luck Colonels!
