  • Today’s Key Club trivia question is “In what year were females allowed to join Key Club? Remember to bring your answer to room 140 for a chance to win!
  • Part of Key Club week, there will be a cake walk today at lunch in the cafeteria. Proceeds will go towards Christmas presents for those in need.
  • The University of Toronto will be at Colonel Gray tonight from 6:30-8pm, in room 118. All interested students and parents/guardians are asked to please attend. See Mr. Cox for more details.
  • Tomorrow, Mount Allison University has arranged for FREE transportation to and from CHARLOTTETOWN for a tour of the campus. Students interested in FINE ARTS will be given feedback on your artwork and portfolio. Meals are INCLUDED!  See Ms. Bovaird for more details on how to register.
  • Soccer intramurals will go ahead today at lunch, see the schedule in the gym. No Gray Fit after school today, yoga instead.
    Last day to get uniforms in, fees will be added to school cash accounts after today.
  • Students interested in volunteering in the library and gaining volunteer hours for the Coles scholarship should come to a meeting today at 12 in the library.
  • All Rotary Exchange applicants are reminded to have their applications in to Mr. Peterson by Friday.
  • Graduation photos will be taken, in the school, on Nov. 24 – Dec. 6 in the CG library conference room. All graduates need to be photographed for the wall composite and yearbook, but no purchase is necessary. Students need to sign up with Mrs. Profit in the library before Nov. 22 to reserve a time.
  • Cafeteria specials today are, pulled pork on a kaiser with rice or BBQ chicken pizza & fries $5.25 each.

  • University of Kings College will have a representative in Student Services today at lunch. On Thursday, St. Mary’s University will be at Confederation Centre at 7 p.m.
  • AA girls basketball try outs today after school at 5:00-6:30 All new players welcome.
  • AA boys stay tuned for try out dates No yoga today, so the gym and wellness center will be open at lunch.

  • Both the men and women’s volleyball teams finished their season this weekend. The girls won gold, defeating KISH in five sets. Unfortunately, the boys lost in their final to Three Oaks. Congratulations to both teams on an outstanding season!
  • Thanks to coaches Andrew MacDougald, Jeremy MacKinnon & Max Arsenault for all their hard work this season, it is much appreciated.
    Basketball try-outs will begin today after school. Girls will go at 3:30 until 5:30, this try-out is for all girls interested in playing basketball, both AAA and AA. Our AAA boys try outs will be from 5:30-7:30. We are still searching for a men’s AA coach, stay tuned for updates on when those try outs will be. A schedule for the week will be posted in the gym.
    All fall athletes are reminded to return uniforms to the Phys Ed department immediately. Students will not be able to participate in other sports until the uniform is returned, and uniform costs will be added to School Cash.
  • Could Olivia Rogers, Jon Alex Vos, Peter McQuaid, Jordan Khan, Sal Farag, Jon MacKenzie, Mikey Doucette, Lauren Clark, Annika Weibe, Abigal Cox and Hailey Larkin please see Mrs Lindsay today.

  • If you are involved in the Remembrance Day ceremony in the gym today, could you kindly ask your teacher to leave Block B at 10:50?
  • Today both volleyball teams play in a semi-final game, with the boys traveling to Westisle for a 6:30 game start and the girls hosting TOSH at 5:30. Come out and cheer on the girls as they push for gold!
    All players are reminded to bring in their jerseys to Mrs Lindsay immediately. You will not be able to participate in another school sport and will be responsible for covering the cost of the uniform if it’s not returned.
  • Congratulations to our PEISAA soccer all-stars for the 2016 season.

  • For all students who auditioned for The Little Mermaid the musical, there will be a meeting today at 12:00 in the band room.
  • Any Navy, Air, or Army Cadets at Colonel Gray are invited to wear their uniform tomorrow to the Remembrance Day Ceremony.  They are also invited to sit up front with Mr. Doiron.  Please ensure that you are wearing your full uniform, including your hat or beret.
  • Power lifting at lunch today in the gym.
  • Key club will be having its first Miracle Minute on tomorrow during announcements. We’ll have 60 seconds to raise as much money as we can for the poppy campaign to support our veterans. Bring your change to make a change!
  • The gr 11 IB Relay for Life team is holding a “Pie the Teacher” event in the cafeteria at lunch on Tues, Nov 15. If you want the chance to pie a teacher, tickets are being sold in the lobby today & Monday of next week. All proceeds go the cancer research.
  • Reminder to all Duke of Edinburgh Silver and Bronze participants of the very important meeting in room 140 at 11:45.
  • University of King’s College will be at the Delta on Nov 9 from 7-9pm and they will be here at Colonel Gray on November 16th at lunch.
  • Chess Club today at lunch in the Library, bring your lunch (as long as you don’t make a mess).
  • A reminder that we encourage all students and staff to participate at Colonel Grays’ first movie night starting at 6pm tonight in the cafeteria, we will be watching Harry Potter and Beetlejuice.

  • Any Navy, Air, or Army Cadets at Colonel Gray are invited to wear their uniform to next Wednesday’s Remembrance Day Ceremony.  They are also invited to sit up front with Mr. Doiron.  Please ensure that you are wearing your full uniform, including your hat or beret.
  • There will be a very important, mandatory meeting for all bronze and silver Duke of Edinburgh participants on Tuesday at 11:45 in room 140.
  • A rep from Memorial University will be in Student Services tomorrow at 11:40.  Any student interested in learning more about Memorial, please stop by.
  • AS you’ve all been waiting for, the winners of last week’s game of Gotcha, with 6 eliminations each, is a tie between Lauren Moerike and Todd Whilt! Thank you to all who played!
  • University of King’s College will be at the Delta on Nov 9 from 7-9pm and they will be here at Colonel Gray on November 16th at lunch.

  • On Friday at lunch, a representative from St. Thomas University will be in Student Services for all students interested.  Also, Memorial University will be here on Tuesday, Nov. 8th.
  • The Canadian Math Open Competition will be held on Thursday afternoon at 12:30 in the library. All students who registered for this competition are asked to go directly to the library after lunch. Bring a calculator.
  • Any boys interested in participating in a U16 rugby exchange through PEI rugby please see Mrs. Lindsay in the gym.
  • GrayFit continues in the wellness centre after school on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays.  All fitness levels welcome, open to students and staff.
  • Today in intramurals Alex Aghdassi vs Sammy Yacoub, Friday Passang Tamang vs Devon Keaveney.
  • Any students interested in travelling on a fan bus to Westisle to cheer on the men’s or women’s volleyball team next Saturday, please sign up at the Student Council office. Cost will be $2 per person but we need a full bus in order to go.
