  • All runners and jumpers should be at the track today at 4pm. There are still quite a few spots left to be filled on the track and field team.  If you are interested in taking part, please see Mr. Peterson ASAP.

  • There will be an epic performance today in the Lecture Theatre @ 12:00. Come down to watch a short pirate play with guns, whales, love, death, heartbreak, and a smoke machine.  Don’t miss it as it’s rated AAAARRRRRR!
  • GRADUATES: Today is the last day to sign up to be valedictorian.  See Mrs. Cutcliffe in Room 213.
  • The girls softball team practices today at 3:45.  The team goes to Montague tomorrow to play the Vikings and the girls host Souris on Friday at 5:00 at Victoria Park.

  • The RBC Bursary application and information is now posted in Student Services.  Deadline to apply is May 20, at 3:10.  Please drop down to check the board in Student Services.

  • Ravensberg College Law Enforcement will have a representative in Student Services today, May 13, at 11:40.  Anyone interested in hearing more, please come to Student Services at lunch.
  • A reminder to grade 12 students that today is the last day to submit scholarship applications to Mr. Peterson.  If you haven’t already, come to Student Services and pick up the appropriate forms.
  • Students from Ms Bovaird’s first semester GRADE 10 Art Classes are asked to go to the Graphic Arts Room, Room 305 to collect work that was displayed in the recent art show.
  • Little Big Band will rehearse this Friday at lunch, not Monday morning.
  • Cafeteria specials today are 3 cheese pizza & fries or a bacon cheeseburger & fries $5.10.

  • Grads: if you are interested in being this year’s valedictorian, please see Mrs. Cutcliffe in room 213 by Friday, May 13th.
  • All runners and jumpers should be at the track today at 4pm.
  • The Miracle Minute for Fort Mac is happening today after LUNCH. Save your change to help the people of Fort Mac.
  • Cafeteria specials today are Chicken burger & wedges, BBQ chicken pizza & wedges $5.10 or meatball bowl $3.50.

  • There will be a Miracle Minute tomorrow after lunch in support of the Fort McMurray fires.
  • All students who are participating in the triathlon are reminded to meet in room 152 at the beginning of lunch today.

  • All runners who can make it should be at the track today at 4pm.  Discus practice at UPEI at 7pm.
  • Any student who has or is taking grade 12 Chemistry and wants to write the University of Waterloo’s Chem 13 News Exam should sign up on the sheet located in Room 230. The exam will take place on Thursday during block C in Room 230. See Mr. Sealy for details.
  • There will be a Miracle Minute Thursday after lunch in support of the Fort McMurray fires.
  • Making Waves Trivia winners last week were Anika Wiebe, Hailey Morrell, John MacDonald and Sam Cutcliffe. Good job Sam on knowing that your father, Mr. Cutcliffe was the trivia answer.
  • The girls softball team defeated Bluefield by a score of 8-5 yesterday. The winning pitcher was Sydney Halliwell with 16 strike outs and the top batters were Jada Yeo and Emily Waugh.

  • Little Big Band will rehearse today at lunch, and Monday morning.
  • Are you interested in hearing some poetry and rhymes at lunch?  The Mumbo Jumbo Street Slang Gang will be performing today at 12:00 in the Lecture Theatre. Come out to hear poets and rappers perform some amazing lyrical magic.
  • Any student interested in participating in the PEISAA triathlon on Monday May 23rd (Victoria Day) in Summerside, please see Mr. MacDougald right away for information and forms.  Forms are due at the end of the week.
  • Reminder the Entrepreneurship class will be selling Colonel Gray pins under the main entrance doors at lunch.

  • The Girls Softball Team won their 1st game of the season by beating Morell 10-0. Margaret Reynolds was the winning pitcher and Ashley McBain hit a ball out of the park!
  • Any student interested in participating in the PEISAA triathlon on Monday May 23rd (Victoria Day) in Summerside, please see Mr. MacDougald right away for information and forms.  Forms are due at the end of the week.

  • Anyone interested in participating in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital youth volunteer program, running 9 weeks this summer, should check the bulletin board outside Mr. Cox’s office in Student Services.  Volunteer hours count for the Community Service Bursary.
  • A student-loan officer will be here Wednesday at 11:40 to guide grade 12 students through the application process.  Please meet in rm 139.

  • Space Disco Club will be held toady at 11:50 in room 244, all are welcome!!
