  • Looking to kick-start your fitness or need some direction to get more fit, come to the fitness centre today.
  • AA boys’ basketball try out will start today at 7:30.
  • AA girls basketball will practice today from 5:30-7:30.
  • All members of the Mumbo Jumbo Street Slang Gang are required to meet in the Lecture Theatre today at lunch for a rehearsal.  Only those who rehearse today will be performing tomorrow.
  • Students – please keep the report cards given out tomorrow in a safe place, as they may be required for attendance verification, immigration documentation or unofficial mid-term marks for university/colleges.
  • Any students planning on attending Queen’s University who will be applying for the Chancellor’s Scholarship should see Mr. Peterson in student services regarding the school nomination immediately.  Deadline for application is December 1st.
  • Jesus at Gray today in room 121.
  • New Environmental Club opening tomorrow in room 208 at lunch. Stay tuned tomorrow for more information.
  • Cafeteria specials today are Mac & cheese, caesar salad & garlic stick $5.10, sheppards pie with caesar salad $5.10 or soup & grilled cheese sandwich $4.50.

  • Looking to kick-start your fitness or need some direction to get more fit. Come to the fitness centre on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays after school beginning this week.
  • Just a reminder to all students that the Writing Centre is open in room 129 from Monday to Thursday after school. Stop by with your writing projects for any help or advice you may need.  Everyone is welcome.
  • Come to space disco club today at 11:50 in room 244, today’s theme is bad jazz.
  • Yoga club will meet today at 11:55 in the Lecture Theatre.
  • Don’t forget Colonels Jesus at Gray tomorrow..be there or be square.

  • Attention Grade 12s! Saint Mary’s University will be hosting a very important information session on Wednesday, November 18th at the Confederation Centre of the Arts in Charlottetown starting at 7:00pm for any interested Grade 12 students and their parents. Light refreshments will be provided and they will be doing free admissions on the spot, so bring a transcript!  Students can RSVP to info@smu.ca.
  • Power lifting meeting today at lunch 11:40 in room 101.
  • Key Club meets today at lunch.
  • The first meeting of the Philosophy Club will be Tuesday November 17th in Mr. MacDonald’s room 141 at 11:45.  Bring your lunch and we’ll discuss the deeper questions of life.
  • Kings College will be in student services today at 11:40 -all students welcome.  For students interested in particuliar in journalism should attend.
  • Any student who is considering UNB for the fall please go to student services at 11:45 for short meeting.

We will be photographing grads Nov 25th to Dec 9th
Students must book an appointment time
All photo sessions take place at the school.
We ask that all students be photographed by Lifetouch so we can include them in
the Graduation Composite. Life touch does not charge a fee for this service to the
school.
Lifetouch is also our primary photographer for graduation photos and offers the following graduation photo
options. Our experience has been that they provide good quality photos at a reasonable price.

Thanks to our venders, students, parents, teachers, and community for supporting the annual Colonel Gray Music Department Craft Fair.

 

Colonel Gray Music Department Christmas Craft Fair – link to more information

The 23rd Annual Colonel Gray Music Department Christmas Craft Fair will be held on November 20th from 5:30 – 9:00 pm and November 21st from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm. The Craft Fair takes place at Colonel Gray High School, at 175 Spring Park Road in Charlottetown.  Admission is $3, and children under 12 get in free. The school is wheelchair accessible.

This annual favourite craft fair includes over 100 vendors featuring the finest quality handcrafted items and decorations, delicious fudge, and a canteen. There will be fresh Christmas wreaths for sale, and orders will be taken for fresh cut local Christmas trees.

  • The Mumbo Jumbo Street Slang Gang will now meet tomorrow in the Lecture Theatre.  Please have your spoken word piece ready for auditioning.
  • 6:30-8:00 this evening – UPEI and Holland College are here to talk about possible options for post secondary.  This is open to all grades and a good way to start thinking about future education plans.  This will start in the Lecture Theatre at 6:30.
  • A rep from Kings University will be in student services on Monday, November 16th at noon.  Anyone interested in learning more about Kings is invited.

  • Tomorrow is bring a friend to Welcoming committee day! Join in the fun and new members are always welcome!

  • Key Club will be selling lemon wedges at lunch. Come out and challenge your friends to the ELEMONATE Challenge. Every wedge sold saves one life in hopes to eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus globally. $2 each today & Friday! Challenge your friends!
