Charlottetown Rural seeks Colonel Gray Alumni for Basketball Game

Posted on: November 12th, 2014 by kdwhitrow

Rural is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year and as part of our celebrations, we are trying to arrange a basketball game between former players of Rural and Gray. I was wondering if you could advertise this on your website? I understand that Mike Connolly is also trying to rally some former players from the Gray.

I’m not sure what your thoughts are on this request but I am confident you will give it fair consideration. I have attached a little paragraph below.

Former Colonel Gray basketball players are invited to take part in an all ages alumni basketball game against our cross town rivals, Charlottetown Rural. 2014 marks the 50th anniversary of Charlottetown Rural and as part of their anniversary celebration on Saturday, November 22nd, they are hosting this unique basketball game, one that has been 50 years in the making. Any players interested in participating in the game are asked to contact Ryan Keliher at CRHS (902-368-6905).

Gray Students: If your parents attended Gray and play basketball please invite them to represent Gray on more time. Any players interested in participating in the game are asked to contact Ryan Keliher at CRHS (902-368-6905).
