  • Key Club meeting @lunch today in the Lecture Theatre.
  • Wrestling will be starting tomorrow 5:30-7:30pm in the cafeteria.
  • Reminder of the spoken word club today at 11:50 in room 215.
  • Boys A soccer practice today at 4:00pm.
  • All those interested in volunteering at the Wall of Fame Cup see Ms. Currie or Ms. Sheppard ASAP.
    Very important meeting Thursday at 11:40 in the gym for all volunteers to receive tshirts and confirm schedule and duties
  • Cafeteria special today sweet & sour meatballs on rice with veggies$5.00 or chicken strip platter $5.00. We now have Goji’s frozen yogurt!

  • For IB teachers and students Tuesday, October 14th will be a IB Day 4. Everyone else, it will be Day 2.
  • Reminder to IB Visual Arts students to pick up your cameras today.
  • Anyone who is interested in being on the Safe Grad Executive for this coming year must see Mrs. Bradley or Ms. Cummins by the end of the day today!!
  • The date for the Safe Grad Variety Show is Thursday, November 27th at 7:00 p.m.
  •  Do you spit sick rhymes at times to get dimes!  Any lyrical magicians, word smiths, or spotlight seekers are welcome to our first Slam Poets meetings today in Room 215 at 11:50. 
  • Congratulations to our cross country teams on their very impressive performances at yesterdays zone meet.  All four teams won their respective divisions.  Best of luck to all runners at the provincials on Oct 16th.
  • Cafeteria Special today is bacon cheeseburger with choice of side $5.00 or Pizza Slice with choice of sidde $5.00.

  • Any students that go on bus 91- Tiger in the morning will now be getting picked up by bus 102 -Margaret Younker. The pick up time may be about 5-10 minutes later than normal. This change will take effect Tuesday, October 14th, 2014.
  • Weight Training/Power Lifting Club Initial meeting this Wednesday Oct 8th, 11:50 in room 116.  See Mr. Huggan or Mr. Toole for details.
  • Do you like to perform?  Do you like money?  Do you like button poetry or slam poetry? If so, come to Room 215 on Wednesday for Colonel Gray’s Slam Poetry meeting.  All writers and performers are welcome!
  • Student Council meeting for all grade reps today in room 139 at lunch.
  • Archery Club is cancelled today.

  • The Cross Country Team arrived home from the Belfast Maine Cross Country running meet with an outstanding result.  The boy’s team finished 9th of 68 teams and the girls placed 19th of 63 teams.  1700 of the top cross county runners in the US and Canada were competing.  Tory Fitzpatrick finished 17th fastest of 800 runners.  Well done Colonels!
  • Mr. Keizer has been speaking with some concerned residents that live close to the school as there has been an increase in litter in our neighborhood.  Please respect our neighbors by stashing your trash.
  • Cafeteria Special today is Pasta Bake with Garlic Bread $5.00 or Chicken Fajita with rice and corn $5.00. Don’t forget we are now serving breakfast sandwiches in the mornings.

  • 9:00 Monday morning students will go to their 3yr homeroom for 5mins to pick up their pictures and student ID.
  • All those needing to create an art portfolio for college or university please see Mrs. Sheppard today at lunch for a brief meeting in the art room.
  • IB Visual Art Students who are visiting Beaconsfield House today (Friday) are reminded to meet there at 12:30.
  • Mosiac Club today in room 116.
  • 2nd Jazz/Little big band 1st practice Monday morning at 7:45, music for this practice will be available in the band room today
    Band students are reminded this is the last weekend for magazine paper orders, the online campaign will continue beyond this deadline.
  • Do you want to earn a bursary for your education or gain some experience through volunteering? Well you can do both by volunteering in the library before or after school and at lunch. There will be an information meeting at 12 on Friday. See Mrs Profit in the library for full details.
  • Good luck to all of our athletes competing this weekend.  Cross country runners are at a meet in Maine; our field hockey play Bluefield; and our girls volleyball team is in Truro.
  • Cafeteria Special today is Hot Turkey sandwich choice of side$5.00 or Bowl of chili & breadstick $4.50.

  • Junior Achievement will have a table set up in the foyer today to promote and recruit for Junior Achievement, stop by to if you would be interested.
  • Any student interested in volunteering at the Wall of Fame Cup soccer and volleyball tournament October 16th, 17th, and 18th should see Ms. Currie ASAP.  4 hours of volunteering will earn you a volunteer tournament t-shirt. Duties could include – taking tickets/entrant fees at the gate, getting officials games sheets and game balls, passing out player of the game awards, minor officiating.
  • Anyone interested in playing card games or board games are welcome to go to room 238 at noon today.  Bring your lunch and enjoy a relaxing fun lunch every Thursday in room 238.
  • Congratulations to our girls field hockey team and boys baseball team on their impressive performances on Tuesday night.  The girls beat Three Oaks 2-1, while the boys shutout Rural 5-0.
     Colonel Gray went 3 for 4 last night vs. Bluefield.  Our girls AAA soccer team won 3-1, our AAA boys soccer team won 1-0, and our boys volleyball team pulled out a 5th set 16-14 thriller.  Our girls volleyball team battled hard, but lost to the current league Bobcats.
     Good luck to our golf teams at the provincial championships today!!

  • There will be a quick meeting today for all the members of the Colonel Gray Golf Team at Student Services at 11:40.  Everyone must attend.
