  • 65 minute morning classes
  • 90 minute Activity and Lunch
  • 65 minute afternoon classes 

9:00 – 10:05 Period 1

10:05 – 10:15 Break

10:15 – 11:20 Period 2

11:20 – 12:50 Lunch and Colonel Gray Challenge (90 minutes)

12:50 – 1:55 Period 3

1:55 – 2:05 Break

2:05 – 3:10 Period 4 – block C – Valedictory Candidate speeches – all grade 12 students attend in the lecture theatre.

  • Grade twelve students:  those who expressed their intent to run for valedictorian, see Mrs Cutcliffe by noon on Wednesday
  • Attention all present and future Booster Club members, the 3rd early bird draw is this Thursday immediately following the completion of the Colonel Gray Challenge. 
    We are drawing for a $50.00 visa card.  There are 3 more draws this year as well as over 30 for next year.  We are pleased to announce that we are close to reaching our first milestone of 100 members (10% percent towards our final goal)!  There is no better time than now to join.  A full list of selling incentives is posted on the bulletin board in the gym.   For more information or to pick up coins, see Mr. Colin MacDonald, Mr. Huggan or Miss Currie. 
  • Yearbook meeting today at lunch in room 153.
  • Jesus at Gray will be meeting today at lunch in room 152, all are welcome!
  • A short meeting but important for all Colonel Gray Challenge participants and officials will happen today in the gym from 11:40-11:45am. It is very, very important that teams attend.
  • The Colonel Gray Challenge is tomorrow. Please bring athletic wear and athletic shoes that you are willing to get a little bit messy/dirty. Please be prepared directly after the end of class and get changed and to the gym as quickly as possible.

  • Mosaic Club executive meeting today at lunch.
  • Grade twelve students:  those who expressed their intent to run for valedictorian, see Mrs Cutcliffe by noon on Wednesday, please
  • Just a note for students who have registered in the Community Service Bursary Program -2014 grads are permitted to collect hours until June 30th.  Please follow up with the organization you are volunteering with to ensure hours are submitted by Sept. 30th.  Submit your student information sheet at www.studentloan.pe.ca  to indicate what post-secondary institution you will be attending.
  • Also, there’s a list posted on the bulletin board in Student Services.  Please check for the correct spelling of your name as we noted several mistakes!
  • Because of weather, the girls softball practice will be canceled today. There will be practices Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at Kiwanis Diamond at 3:45 this week.  
  • The link for registering for Summer School is on the Colonel Gray website, see Ms. Fleming if you have any questions.
  • If you are looking to collect  volunteer hours there is an opportunity to volunteer at Prince Street School Spring Fling on June 6. Sign up sheet posted in Student Services. 
  • Here We GO!!! The Colonel Gray Challenge is this Thursday. The deadline for team registration is today at noon. Please see Mr. MacDonald in the gym to register.
  •  Teams will confirm their participation in the Challenge at a 2 minute meeting on Wednesday at 11:40 and will receive information about their team’s starting station and starting event as a bonus.

  • Mosaic Club meeting on Friday at lunch in Mr. MacAdam’s class. We will be planning for our upcoming Mosaic Club Week and potluck. Also, if anyone is interested in doing a cultural performance for the event, please come to the meeting. Everyone is welcome – bring your friends!
  • Jesus at Gray is meeting today at lunch in room 152, all are welcome!
  • Intramural Lacrosse – Friday is the deadline for registering a team in the intramural Lacrosse league. 
    The league starts on Monday with the J’Birds vs. Crazy P’s. Tuesday will see the Staff Snipers vs. JM’s Gals
     Get your team together and be a part of it!
  • This is a Reminder to all students to return overdue books and any English books you are finished with. if you are not sure check with the teacher Librarian.

  • Friday is suppose to be a blistering hot 22degrees so why not stop by Islands Frozen Yogurt to cool off? Not only will you feel pleasantly refreshed you’ll be supporting a good cause- 20% of all sales between 5-10pm will be donated towards Canada World Youth!!An organization that strives to better the communities that are less fortunate countries!! Stop by and show your support!
  • Students looking for volunteer hours towards their community service bursary should check the bulletin board outside Mr. Cox’s office in Student Services.  Habitat for Humanity need build site volunteers to help with building a house in Harrington. 
  • Yearbook meeting will be Friday at lunch. It is very important that everyone attend.
  • The Colonel Gray Challenge is next Thursday.  Sign up today!  Sign up sheets are on the bulletin board in the gym.
  •  There is an exhibition Lacrosse tournament in the gym today at noon.  Sign up sheets for next weeks intramural Lacrosse league are on the bulletin board in the gym.
  •  Last night was a big night for Colonel Gray’s teams as we won 7 of our 8 games vs. Bluefield.  Our rugby teams dominated their matches while our mens softball pulled out a victory in extra innings.
  •  Our Subway Spring Tip Off Softball tournament resumes today.  Our boys in the semi-final at 6:45 at City diamond, while our girls are in the championship at 8:00 at Central field (Rural).  Good luck to both teams!
  • Reminder of the drama club meeting today at 12:00 in the Lecture Theatre.  We will be making big plans for next years’ improv team and fall production.

  • There are lots prom dresses in Student Services that have been donated. If you’d like a free prom dress, please drop by and check out the selection.
  •  The Girl’s Softball team travels to Bluefield today for a game against their conference rivals. Game is at 5:00 pm.
  • Intramural Lacrosse lessons at noon in the gym today with Mr. Norman. Lacrosse: “Out with the new and in with the old”.
  •  The Colonel Gray Challenge takes place Thursday, May 22nd. Sign up ASAP in the gym for Male, Female, Co-Ed and With a Teacher divisions. We could use a few more teams in the always competitive Co-Ed division. Join the Fun!
  • Anyone who is interested in attending Three Oak’s shOUT PEI GSA conference this Saturday May 16th is asked to see Mr.  MacCormack.  Transportation and meals are provided for this one day PEI wide event.
  • This is a Reminder to all students to return overdue books and any English books you are finished with. if you are not sure check with the teacher Librarian.
  • JAG meeting has been postponed until Friday, but those who are interested can join us today at lunch outside room 152 tp go on a little field trip with us.
  • Chess Club is meeting today at lunch in Mr. MacCormack’s classroom, everyone is welcome!
  • Good luck to all of our spring sports teams in their games today against Bluefield.  Our men’s and women’s softball teams and boys rugby teams host Bluefield today while are girls rugby teams play at Bluefield.  Come on out and support our teams! 
  • Yearbook meeting is moved from today at lunch to Friday at lunch. It is very important that everyone attend on Friday.

  • There will be a short Safe Grad/SADD committee meeting for all members at 12:00 noon today in Mrs. Bradley’s room.  Please attend.
  • Sign-Up your team of 5 for the Colonel Gray Challenge today in the gym. We already have lots of teams signed up and are looking to meet our goal of 24 teams by Thursday. Divisions are: Male Division, Female Division, Co-Ed Divison and “With a Teacher” Division.
  • Pickleball ladder tournament today at noon in the gym. Pickleball, a great game with a funny name.
  • Students will be performing the play “I Don’t Want To Talk About It” tomorrow (Wednesday) during lunch in the lecture theatre. The performance will start shortly after the bell, so bring your lunch and get there fast to enjoy a great show.
  • There has been a slight change in game times for Wednesdays boys rugby games.  All games will now start 30 minutes earlier.  A Boys 4:30, AAA boys 5:00, A boys 6:00. 
  •  Attention all staff and students… the first early bird draw for Booster Club members will take place at the championship game at the Subway Spring Tip Off Softball Tournament this Thursday night.  The draw is for 4 large pizzas from Dominos.  There are now a total of 35 draw prizes ranging between $50 and $250.  To join the club see Mr. Colin MacDonald, Ms. Currie or Mr. Huggan.
  •  Congratulations to our girls softball team on their hard fought 12-11 win over Charlottetown Rural yesterday. 
  • A reminder to all student athletes to fill out your athletes point form.
  • Reminder to students to return overdue books. That includes English books you are finished with. You can check at the library to find out what books you have outstanding.
