Charlottetown Rural Musical – Grease – May 8,9,10, 2014

Posted on: April 30th, 2014 by kdwhitrow

Twenty five years ago, Charlottetown Rural staged its first production of Grease and we are back again with an all new version of this classic 50s production by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey. Our cast, pit and crew have become Thunderbirds and Pink Ladies, talking the talk and dancing the moves at the Burger Palace. Danny and Sandy are all the talk, their love affair straddling the social classes, schools and what side of town youre from. Well known lyrics and classic 50s rock and roll complete a tale of adolescence, conflict, rebellion, and the meaning of love and friendship with attitude and edge. Weve added a couple of songs from the movie to round out a perfect show that we hope you will come and enjoy at the Homburg Theatre, Confederation Centre of the Arts, May 8,9,10 at 8:00pm. Tickets available at the Confederation Centre Box Office.
