  • The Junior Achievement Program will be meeting today at 3:15 in room 129.
  • Leadership 801 students will be selling bags of candy today and Wednesday this week. Candy will be $1 each and raised money will go to turkey drive to support families in need.
  • Did you ever want to tape a teacher to the wall? Come to the lobby this morning and vote for the  teacher you would like to have stuck up against the wall the next day. Votes are only .50 cents each or three for a$1, so come vote as much as you wish to help support a good cause with all proceeds going towards the CBC turkey drive.
  • The following students are to see Mrs. Bradley before the day ends to make arrangements for an audition.  If a no show, they are NOT in the SHOW!! Tristen Garnhum, Morgan Cale, Angelina MacKinnon, Marie Charles, Kylie Lamont, Isaiah Jabbour.
  • Grads please remember to book your grad pictures even if you are getting them taken somewhere elde you still need to have one taken at school for the composite. See Megan Poole to book your appointment.
  • The first meeting of the Colonel Gray Archery Club will be today at 3:30 in the cafeteria, no experience or equipment necessary. All are welcome!

  • We would like to welcome the UPEI Preservice Teachers who will be at Colonel Gray for the next 4 weeks.
  • VARIETY SHOW UP-DATE!!  Last call to sign-up is today, Monday, Nov. 18th by noon.  All those who ALREADY have signed up, please see Mrs. Bradley before the end of the day today to discuss auditioning time for Tuesday at lunchtime or after school. 
  •  ALL SAFE GRAD COMMITTEE members will meet this week on THURSDAY, NOV. 21st at noon in Mrs. Bradley’s room.  Final plans for rolling out the Variety Show next Tuesday evening so everyone should be in attendance.
  • AA boys Basketball tryouts continue today at 4:30…
  • Congratulations to our badminton players for placing strong this past weekend in the Badminton PEI kick-off tournament.
  • Reminder of yearbook meeting on Wednesday at lunch in room 153.
  • The first meeting of the Colonel Gray Archery Club will be Thursday at 3:30 in the cafeteria.

    • Attention all grads, picture are starting on today in room 101. Please see Megan Poole to book appointment. All grads need their pictures for the composite, Megan will be in the cafeteria  today at lunch.
    • A rep from Acadia University will be in Student Service today during lunch time.
    • Today is your last chance to buy a ticket for your chance to pie a teacher. The draw will take place at 12:00 in the cafeteria so be sure to be in attendance. All the proceeds go to the CBC turkey drive. Come on out and see some teachers get pied!
    • Colonel Gray’s Gay-Straight Alliance will meet in room 151 at lunch, all are welcome!
    • Full Safe Grad meeting today at 12:00 noon in Mrs. Bradley’s room.
    • Picture orders are due back to the main office by Wednesday, November 20th.

  • A rep from Acadia University will be in Student Services during lunch time tomorrow, Friday.
  • A group from the leadership class will be holding a bake sale at the front doors today at lunch. All proceeds will go towards the turkey drive.
  • Free the Children meeting today at lunch in the Lecture Theatre. New members are always welcome.

  • Tree and Wreath coupons are now available for all Band members.

  • A group from the Leadership class woll ne holding a bake sale at the front doors tomorrow at lunch. All proceeds will go towards the turkey drive.
  • Jesus at Gray is running a baked goods giveaway at lunch. We will be in the foyer and around the halls, come out and join us.
  • There will be a yearbook meeting today at lunch in room 153. All members are asked to attend. The next dates to purchase a yearbook are November 22 & 23 during the craft fair for a price of $30.
  • Attention all grads, picture are starting on Thursday. Please Megan Poole to book appointment. All grads need their pictures for the composite, she will be in the cafeteria Wednesday and Thursday at lunch this week.
  • There is a chess gathering at lunch in the libary conference room. All skill levels are welcome, from beginner to grand master!!
  • “AA” boys basketball tryouts are Thursdaya at 4:30.

  • Come to student services Thursday at lunch to hear about Encounters with Canada.  A week long opportunity for students ages 15-18.
  • There is a SIGN UP poster outside the Student Council office on the bulletin board for any interested Colonels who wish to perform, participate or entertain in the up-coming Safe Grad/SADD Variety Show scheduled for Tues., Nov. 26th here at Colonel Gray. After sign up, there will be a call for auditions on Monday and Tuesday of next week.  So don’t delay and sign up your band or act’s name.  If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Bradley. 
  • Buy a ticket in the cafeteria during lunch for a chance to pie a teacher and help support the CBC turkey drive. The tickets will be sold from November 12-15 and the draw will take place on Friday the 15th.
  • Congratulations to our girls volleyball team on their exciting Championship win Saturday.  The girls came back after losing the first game to Kish to win the next three.  It was the second straight championship for the girls and the 5th in 6 years.  Great work girls!
  • Basketball tryouts are now underway. 
  •  AAA girls are today and tomorrow at 3:30
    AAA Boys are today at 7:00 and tomorrow at 7:30.
    AA girls tryouts start Wednesday at 5:30.
    AA Boys tryouts start Thursday at 4:30.
