  • Reps from Trinity Western University in B.C. & Tyndale University in Toronto (both Christian Universities) will be in Student Services Monday at 3.15.
  • SAFE GRAD/SAAD EXECUTIVE MEETING today in Mrs. Bradley’s room, 210, at noon.  All new executive members are expected to be in attendance to begin plans for the up-coming variety show. 
  • Congratulations to the Colonel Gray X-Country team who successfully defended all four provincial banners yesterday.  Approximately 60 Colonels took part in the races, and there were numerous personal bests.  Special shout outs to gold medallists Riley Spenceley and Sarah Victor, silver medallist Danielle Younker, bronze medallists Captain Michael Rogers and Cameron Hoy and top five finishers Melvin Sim-Turay, Alex Hyndman, Lydia MacLeod and Andrew Wong.
  • Reminder! Help is needed for the Y’s Mens Food Drive on October 28 from 5:30-7:30. If you can help with the gathering of food, would you please sign up in the main office and meet at the teacher’s door at CG at 5:30 on October 28.
  • Students in Mr. MacDonld’a Math 621A class who missed the quiz yesterday are invited to make it up today at lunch. See Mr. MacDoanld at 11:40 if you are interested.
  • GSA meeting in room 151 at lunch. All are Welcome!

  • Final picture retakes will happen on Friday afternoon (Oct. 25)  If you are having a re-take done, please bring your original picture envelope with you as this speeds up the process.
  • Grad photos will take place here at the school from Nov. 14 until Dec. 3.   Photos are done on an appointment basis.  Book your appointment online at:  www.lifetouch.ca/mygradphotos
  •  Help is needed for the Y’s Mens Food Drive on October 28 from 5:30-7:30. If you can help with the gathering of food, would you please sign up in the main office and meet at the teacher’s door at CG at 5:30 on October 28.
  • Attention all guys interested in playing rugby this year there will be a meeting Friday at 11:45 in room 118.
  • Free the Children meeting today at lunch. There will be a haunted basement meeting afterschool in the cafeteria. All participats please attend.
  • Any cross country runners who need a ride to the provincial championships at Rural should meet the bus in front of the school at 11:50.

AARAO Tour for University/College Information Session – Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013

To Grade 11 and 12 students and their parents,
On Wednesday, Oct. 23, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m, representatives from many of the universities, colleges, and other post secondary institutions in the region will set up in the Colonel Gray cafeteria to present their programs and answer questions.

This is a great opportunity for students and parents to explore various post secondary training opportunities. The venue allows exposure to a wide variety of interests and careers options.

Please take this opportunity to visit the school and learn about the possibilities for your student.

  • The Learn to Run Club will be running today and Wednesday at 3:30. We are past the half way point.  Way to go runners.
  • Picture retakes will take place tomorrow (Tuesday Oct. 22)  for any students and staff who missed having their picture taken in September.

  • Whooo Hooo !!! 50/50 Draw for the CBC Turkey Drive at lunch everyday this week at Dodgeball!!! Come support a good cause!
  • October 22 and 23 – Jr. Achievement will have a table set up in the cafeteria over lunch to let students know about their program.
