Athletics:

  • Congratulations to the Boys and Girls Volleyball teams for their wins yesterday over Montague.
  • AAA Boys soccer plays today at 5:00 here at Colonel Gray to start the Wall of Fame tournament. AAA Girls play at 5:00 at Charlottetown Rural! Come out to cheer them on!
  • Would all students who have already signed up, or are interested in volunteering for this weekend’s tournament please go to the gym at the start of lunch for a quick meeting.

Band:

  •  School Musical meeting today in the Lecture Theatre at 11:50. Whether you want to play in the pit band, sing on the stage, or help with the behind the scenes activities, you should attend this meeting.

Meetings:

  • There will be a meeting for all grade 12’s interested in helping with Safe Grad today in Rm 139.                 

Notices:

  •  Any grade 12 students interested in writing the Canadian Open Math Competition on November 8th are asked to sign up in class, or see Mr. MacEwen in room 244 by Wednesday, Oct. 17th. This is not a school day, so students will need to find their own transportation to and from the school.
  • Come to Space Disco in room 244 on Friday. This week’s theme is Neon Cowboy!
  • Rotary will hold an information session on the Rotary Youth Exchange program on October 22, 2018 at 7:00 PM.  The meeting will take place in the Lecture Theatre at Colonel Gray.  All parents and students interested in finding more about this great adventure are welcome.

Student Services:

  • Representatives from University of Ottawa will be here on Oct. 11, and Queen’s University on Oct. 17. Interested students should take advantage of this fantastic opportunity to have questions answered during these one-time-per-year Ontario university visits.

 Teachers, today is Supervision Day 3.
