Student Services Notes:
A representative from Acadia University will be in Student Services on Friday (Oct. 13) at lunch time for any students interested.
There will be a very quick meeting today (Wednesday) at 11:45 in Mr. Cox’s office in Student Services for the Colonel Gray Golf team.
Students and staff are reminded that the coats for kids campaign is now underway. If you have any coats, mitts, scarves, etc please put them in the bin outside Student Services.
Clubs/Activities:
Red Cross meeting today at lunch in room 230.
Reminder that this is Fire Prevention Week. Hope everyone will participate in the door decorating contest this week, the theme being Fire Prevention and Safety. Contact your Block D teachers for information.
Are you a grade 10 student looking for some volunteer hours? Look no further – speak with our leadership student, Charity, in the cafeteria today at 12:00 for more information.
Come to Space Disco this Friday at noon in 244, Mr. MacEwen’s room. This week’s theme is “It’s NOT a phase MOM!”
Debate Club Friday in lecture theatre at 11:50, new members welcome.
Student Council Notes:
There is a signup sheet posted outside the student council room for the Y’s Men’s food drive, Monday, October 23rd from 5:30-7:30. Great way to help out the community and build volunteer bursary hours.
Phys. Ed Dept/Sports:
A men and women’s soccer play at KISH today at 5 pm- the bus will leave at 3:45 from the front of the school.
Field hockey will host TOSH at the Cornwall turf at 4:40
Volleyball is at Rural today: women at 5:30, men at 730
Students interested in volunteering for Wall of Fame Cup: there will be sign up in the cafeteria today at lunch

Math Dept:

Any Grade 11 or Grade 12 students interested in writing the Canadian Open Mathematics please see Mr. MacEwen in Rm 244 by Thursday of this week.
