  • This is the last day that student council will be selling merchandise.
  • Anyone interested in film making is encouraged to come to the art room today at lunch for the first meeting of the Colonel Gray Filmmaking Club.

Athletics:

  • Anyone interested in playing in the High School Friendship Hockey Tournament needs to sign up with Mr. Gregory as soon as possible in room 116.

Notices:

  • Would the Ga Ga kids cast members please see Mrs. Chappell in room 202 at lunch.
  • A reminder that all valentine’s ordered this week will be delivered right after lunch to classrooms by members of the key club. Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!
  • GRAD RETAKES scheduled for yesterday will be moved to the same time Friday.  Thursday times remain as booked.  IF YOU HAVEN’T yet booked your appointment- please do so on line:  https://booknow.appointment-plus.com/1dqyyrrv/   or see Mrs. Profit in the library asap.   We need all grads to have a picture for the 2019 wall composite and for the presentation at graduation.

Student Services:

  • At lunch today, admissions staff from Holland College will be at Colonel Gray. Students can sign up in Student Services, and will then have an opportunity to sit down one-on-one with final questions about programs, applying, or scholarships.
  • A St. Thomas University representative will be in Student Services at lunch on Wednesday, Feb. 13.

Athletics:

  • There will be a meeting in Room 116 at the beginning of lunch today for any male students interested in playing in the High School Hockey Friendship tournament.
    Any girls interested in playing on the women’s team please see Ms Currie sometime today.

Meetings:

  • A St. Thomas University representative will be in Student Services at lunch on Wednesday, Feb. 13.
  • For one day only, on Thursday, Feb. 14th, Holland College Admissions Office will be waiving their usual $40 application fee.  Drop off your application directly to Holland College on Weymouth Street.

Athletics:

  • Early morning badminton is canceled for this week and will resume on Sunday from 4-6:30.

Meetings:

  • Anyone participating in the Musical Poster contest is reminded to meet with Mr. Weale tomorrow at lunch in the Art room with their designs.
  • Fridays’s stage crew meeting for anyone interested in participating is now on Tuesday at noon in room 151. See me. MacCormack if you cannot attend.

  • This is an important announcement for all graduates and probably the most important thing you’ll do all year.  By Monday or Tuesday, please make sure you order your February transcript to go to all universities/colleges you have (or plan to) apply to.  Your transcript being included in the massive send out will ensure you make university application and scholarship deadlines.

  • There will be a meeting Friday at 12:00 in room 151 for all students who are interested in participating in the stage crew for the musical this year.
  • There will be a Debate meeting today in room 141 for all who wish to prepare for upcoming provincial competition.

  • Reminder to students, please return your textbooks to your 1st semester teacher….any unreturned items/textbooks will be charged to your school cash account.
  • Grade 10 and 11 students interested in writing the Waterloo math contests on Feb. 26th can register in their math classes, or see Mr. MacEwen in room 244 by the end of the day today.
  • Come to Space Disco this tomorrow at lunch in room 244, this week’s theme: Kirk Cutcliffe!
  • Want to treat a special someone this Valentine’s Day? Key Club is selling candygrams all this week in the main lobby at lunch. Don’t miss out! This Valentine will be delivered for you on Valentine’s Day.
