  • Students, please ensure you have cleaned out your lockers of any food items and garbage before you leave for the holidays.
  • When we return to school after the Christmas break on January 3, 2019….it will be a Day 1, IB Day 1 and a Supervision Day 1.

Athletics:

  • “AA” Boys and Girls Basketball games  that were scheduled today against Morell are both Cancelled. “AAA” Girls will practice at 3:30, “AA” Girls at 5:30, and “AA” Boys will practice at 7:30 tonight.

Notices:

  • Students, please ensure you have cleaned out your lockers of any food items and garbage before you leave for the holidays.
  • To all the members of debate club:    We will be preparing for our tournament against the Rural in the lecture theater today.   Join us if your schedule allows for it.
  • There will be Peer Helper block meetings in the library at the start of each period tomorrow.
  • Free the Children will be selling candy grams in the lobby at lunch today, for $2.50 each. surprise someone special with a festive treat!
  • When we return to school after the Christmas break on January 3, 2019….it will be a Day 1, IB Day 1 and a Supervision Day 1.
  • To the students in the CAST Group……the session for this afternoon is cancelled.

Student Services:

  • The Mount Allison University visit to Colonel Gray has been stormed out a couple of times, and now rescheduled for Monday, Jan. 7th. Any student who wanted to take advantage of the free on-the-spot admissions to apply over the Christmas holidays, should check in Student Services to receive the free code.

  • Last Key Club meeting for 2018 will be held in room 140 at lunch today.

  • There will be Peer Helper block meetings in the library at the start of each period on Thursday.
  • A reminder that the chemistry lab makeup for Mr. MacDougald will be today at lunch.
  • Today at lunch, Mrs. Costello’s Biology 621 Homeroom is fundraising to support girls in Kenya. Drop by the front lobby to guess candy numbers and to learn more about this project that is run by the Mikinduri Children of Hope Organization.
  • Hey Colonels!! Tomorrow, Entrepreneur 521 is having their very own Pop Up Shop selling event here in the cafeteria from 3:30-5:30pm. Some of the products to be sold include: bath bombs, hoodies, homemade signs, brownies in a jar, sock snowmen and homemade tree ornaments. Come out and support the young entrepreneurs of Colonel Gray.

  • Fundraiser today! We will be selling juice boxes, fudge, candy canes and raffle tickets. The raffle tickets are only $1. The winner will receive 3 tickets to a Storm game and they will also receive treats.
  • Mrs. Costello’s Biology 621 Homeroom is fundraising to support girls in Kenya. Drop by the front lobby to guess candy numbers and to learn more about this project that is run by the Mikinduri Children of Hope Organization. We will be there today and Monday at lunch.
  • Come to Space Disco today at lunch in room 244. This weeks theme: Best of the early 2000’s!
  • Hey Colonels, Next Tuesday, December 18th, ENT 521 is having their very own Pop Up Shop selling event here in the cafeteria from 3:30-5:30pm. Some of the products to be sold include: bath bombs, hoodies, homemade signs, brownies in a jar, sock snowmen and homemade tree ornaments. Come out and support the young entrepreneurs of Colonel Gray.

  • Students wishing to purchase a ticket for the dance for tonight will have to do so in Mrs. Gallant-Norring’s office during lunch from 12:10-1:00 and after school from 3:10-3:30.

Gifts can be for any age group from infancy to 18, so when out shopping please pick up an extra something for less fortunate families. Toiletries, toys, socks, winter wear are all suitable examples. Donation boxes will be located in the front office, on the cafeteria stage and in the gym until Friday, December 14, 2018.   • Making Waves will have a short meeting today in room 243, we will meet right at 11:40.
