Meetings:

  • There will be block meetings for all peer helpers tomorrow in the library at the start of each class.
  • Red Cross Club meeting today at 12:00 in room 117.
  • There will be a TedEd Club meeting tomorrow at lunch in room 224.

Notices:

  • If you or someone you know may have lost a zippered case with CD’s in it, please come to the main office….it was turned into the office Monday morning before 9:00 a student found it on the sidewalk out front of the school.

Student Services:

  • On Friday November 2nd, two Ontario universities will be visiting Colonel Gray – Carleton University at lunch and University of Toronto after school.

Athletics:

  • Grayfit starts today 3:30-4:30 in the Wellness Centre.

Meetings:

Notices:

  • Come to the Haunted Hotel Gris from today & tomorrow at lunch for $3 or tonight evening from 6-8:00pm ($5 for adults and $3 for children under 12).  If you bring a non-perishable donation your cost is $1 cheaper. There will also a bake sale in evening.
  • Participants of the Haunted Basement should leave class at 11:30 in order to get ready, (with your teachers permission).

Athletics:

  • Grayfit is back….Tuesday-Thursday 3:30-4:30 in the Wellness Centre. It all starts tomorrow.

Meetings:

  • Key Club meeting today in the Lecture Theatre at 11:50!

  • “AAA” boys soccer team plays at 3:00 on Saturday at the Cornwall Turf, please be there for 2:15. “AAA” girls play at 1:00.
  • Grayfit is back….Come get your fitness on with other students and staff. Tuesday-Thursday 3:30-4:30 in the Wellness Centre. It all starts next Tuesday, October 30.

Meetings:

  • There will be a meeting today for anyone interested in a Colonel Gray Relay for Life. This event helps raise money and awareness for the Canadian Cancer Society. The meeting will be at 11:40 in room 117, bring your lunch!
  • TedEd Club will have an informational meeting today in room 224 during lunch for anyone interested.

Notices:

  • Haunted Basement “Theme is Hotel Gris” hours: Monday & Tuesday Oct 29&30 lunchtime and 6-8pm…..Wednesday Oct 31 lunchtime only! Student costs $3 Public$5, if you bring a non-perishable donation your cost is $1 cheaper.
  • Haunted basement will have a run through today after school, all members please attend!

Athletics:

  • “AAA” boys soccer will play at 3:00 pm on Saturday on the Cornwall turf for the Bronze medal after losing a very close 3-2 game yesterday to Charlottetown Rural
  • “AAA” Girls Soccer will play at 1:00 pm on Saturday on the Cornwall turf for the Bronze medal after losing a 2-1 game in penalty kicks to TOSH yesterday.
  • The Boys Volleyball team lost a tough match against Westisle, taking them to 5 sets.
  • Congratulations to the girls volleyball team who defeated Westisle last night in 3 straight sets.
  • Grayfit is back….Come get your fitness on with other students and staff. Tuesday-Thursday 3:30-4:30 in the Wellness Centre. It all starts next Tuesday, October 30. Be there, workout, sweat, laugh, smile, have fun!!

  • “AAA” Boys Soccer play Charlottetown Rural at home in the semi final game today.

Meetings:

  • All students who missed the final Duke of E journey, a meeting will be held tomorrow at lunch to discuss the make-up trip. It is important that you attend.
  • Would you like to work in politics someday? Do you enjoy making your point and winning an argument? Come and develop some abilities that will make you a stronger debater. Join the debate club every Thursday in the Lecture Theatre at lunch.
  • Any grade 12 student wanting to be considered for a Rotary $1500 STRIVE bursary are invited to the first meeting today at lunch in room 139.

Athletics:

  • Congratulations to the “AAA” Girls soccer who defeated Bluefield last night to move on to the Semi-finals on Wednesday at Three Oaks.
  • “AAA” Boys Soccer will practice today at 3:30. They play Charlottetown Rural at home in the semi finals on Wednesday.
  • The field hockey team will be playing for Bronze Wednesday at 4 @ UPEI vs Bluefield after a tough 2-0 semifinal loss.

Meetings:

  • There will be a TedEd Club’s booth in the main lobby during lunch today. Come check us out!
  • All students who missed the final Duke of E journey, a meeting will be held on THURSDAY at lunch to discuss the make-up trip. It is important that you attend.
  • STRIVE information Meeting will be held tomorrow, Wednesday, October 24th at lunch in Room 139.  Please make sure you attend.

Athletics:

  • Congratulations goes out to Mr. Peterson who won the Moncton Marathon on the week-end. If you see Mr. Peterson today, be sure to give him a high five (if you can reach that high)!
  • “AAA” Boys Soccer will practice after school today at 3:30. Playoff game on Wednesday at 4:00 at Colonel Gray Field.
  • “A” Boys Soccer bus will be leaving for Kensington today at 2:30.   “AAA” Girls Soccer will be playing Bluefield in a playoff game today at Bluefield at 4:00.
  • The field hockey team plays Rural at 5:45 at Cornwall Turf in a semifinal game. Come out and cheer your Colonels on to victory.
  • Congratulations to the Cross Country team, who braved 100 km/hr winds and a sloppy course last Tuesday, going on to win three out of four provincial championships. Individually, the team was led by provincial gold-medalists Sophie Peterson, Emma Germain and Samuel Peterson; silver medalists Grace Richard, Andrew Stewart, Bridget Keedwell and Isaac McCardle and bronze medalists Katie Richard and Jack Morse.

Meetings:

  • KEY Club meets on Monday at 11:50 in the Lecture Theater. Reminder that today is the final day for clothing orders.

Athletics:

  • “AAA” Boys soccer will be playing at Bluefield on Friday at 4:30. Please arrange your own transportation to the field for 3:30.
    “A” Boys Soccer – Will be playing at Morell today at 5:00. Please be ready for the bus leaving at 3:45.
  • Congrats to the field hockey team who defeated TOSH 6-0 in yesterdays’ quarter-final. They will now face Rural in Mondays’ semifinal game.

Meetings:

  • The debate club is meeting today at lunch in the Lecture Theater. Join us as we prepare for an upcoming friendly tournament against Charlottetown Rural.

Notices:

  • There will be a Halloween Dance next Thursday evening, October 25th, from 7-10. Costumes are optional but there will be prizes for the best ones. No masks, though.
