  • Last day for a reminder to Grads to fill in and leave your green transcript sheet in Student Services.  To date, only 111 have been passed in.  All universities/colleges will need to receive your official final June marks.
  • Reminder to students that you must vacate you locker today.  Leave the door open and lock your combination lock on the hasp.  Make sure everything is cleaned out.  There will be a $10.00 fee for missing locks and a $10.00 fee for lockers that are not completely cleaned out.
  • Undergrad members of the Safe Grad committee are asked to check the ‘task and duty’ list on Mrs Bradley’s door before the end of the day.  Please initial beside your name verifying you are aware of your responsibilities.
  • Today is the last day to get your prom tickets for $15, after today they go up to $20, you can pick them up in the library-not at lunch though!

  • Another reminder for grads to fill in a green final transcript sheet, pay their $2 and leave it in Student Services.   It’s easy to do this BEFORE exams begin.   To date, only 93 grads have submitted their form.  All universities and colleges will need to officially receive your final June marks.
  • Any students interested in working at Parks Canada for the summer, deadline for applications is Monday, June 15, 2015. Please go to Student Services to pick up your application.
  • Can the following students please see Ms. Lindsay before the end of the day today: Samantha Williams, Blendina Avdija, Drew Glase, Emma Clarke, Danielle Younker, Darby Myers,
    Faris Zakem, Mark Smith, Zach Visser, Alex Campbell, Peter McQuaid.

  • Safe Grad Committee meeting for all grads is canceled today but there is a Celebration Service meeting today in the Lecture Theatre at 11:45.
  • Could the following students please see Mrs. Lindsay today: Harley Rogers, Lauren Clark, Lauren Moerike and Drew Glase.
  • The Colonel Gray Happy Feet Junior Achievement Group will be selling their tie-dye socks for $5 today in front of the gym doors.

  • Students, if you have an event or information that you would like to advertize using the school bulletin boards you need to speak with Mr. Whitrow in the office to seek permission.  Please don’t post things around the school or move items that are posted without permission. Thanks, Mr. W.
  • Safe Grad Committee is calling a brief meeting of all grads in the Lecture Theater at noon today.
  • Prom bracelets will be available in the library till Friday for $15 each.  Please Do NOT come during lunch.
  • Grads are reminded to please return your green final transcript form to Student Services.  To date, there have only been 69 forms submitted.  All universities and colleges will require your final June marks.
  • The grade 10 and 11 students will be getting out of class 10 minutes early today at 11;30 to go to the cafeteria and hear the presidential speeches. An election will follow. This is your chance to vote for the candidate would will head up student council next year.
  • There is a variety show today at 11:45 in the Lecture Theater featuring the starts of Drama 621.  Come out and see the following Colonel Gray acts: Sarah Williams on a lonely Saturday night, the epic rapper Rafe Wrong, Isaiah Jabbour putting on lipstick, a lipsync competition, and an overly aggressive Juliet Capulet.  Looking forward to seeing you there!
  • A reminder to get all library books back by Thursday; English and Business texts can be returned by the end of the exam.
  • The Athletic Banquet will take place on Friday, June12 at 5:30 in the gym. All Athletes are expected to attend!! Come and enjoy the special food and celebrate the great efforts from the athletes this year.
  • Cafeteria Special today is pulled pork and a side for $5.

  • Full Safe Grad meeting today in Mrs. Bradley’s Room 210.  Final days of preparation and confirmation of times and volunteer roles are being discussed.  Hope to see everyone.
  • Reminder to return library books and any English or business books back as soon as possible.
    The library will not be loaning any books after Wed June 10.
  • Yesterday, the Colonel Gray Girls Softball Team completed their undefeated season by defeating Montague 7-3 to win the Gold Medal. This is the first time Colonel Gray has ever won this title. Jada Yeo was the winning pitcher and struck out 10 batters.  Sarah Murphy had two hits in the championship game.  Congratulations to all the players and the coaches.
  • Cafeteria Specials today are Meat lovers pizza & fries $5 or Chicken Strip Combo $5.

11:30 to 12:30 Student Council Presidential Candidate speeches in the cafeteria – dismissal for grade 12 students, noon break following the speeches.
12:30 to 1:40 Period 3
1:40 to 1:50 Break

3:00 to 3:10 Homeroom meeting for all students

  • The men’s A rugby captured the provincial championship last night. Defeating Tosh 22-10. Congratulations to all the players and coaches on an excellent season. Well Done!
  • Come out and support your Men’s and Women’s AAA rugby as they compete in the finals tonight at UPEI. Women’s team play at 5:30 vs Tosh and Men play at 6:45 vs Rural.
  • Do you have what it takes to be on next year’s Free the Children executive? You probably do, so don’t miss your chance! Today’s meeting in the art room is your last chance!
  • Cafeteria Specials today are Beef on a bun & side $5 or Chicken caesar wrap $4.
