  • Safe Grad Committee meeting today at 12:00 noon in Mrs. Bradley’s room 210.  All committee members are asked to be there to pick up assigned duties.
  • Grad 2015 T-Shirts are on sale for next week at noon in the main lobby.  Cost is $10.00 per shirt. ONE WEEK ONLY!! June 1st-June 5th.
  • Graduates:  There will be a very important meeting for the celebration service on Tuesday at 11:45 in Room 213.  Please see Mrs. Cutcliffe if you are interested but cannot attend on Tuesday.
  • Board game club will meet after school in room 215.
  • Reminder to all Shrek participants who would like a T-Shirt.  We must have your shirt size by the end of the day today.  Please come to the office and provide this information on the sheets on the counter.
  • Hey Colonels! Just a reminder that we will be selling our CG water bottles for $6 at the gym during lunch today.
  • Anyone interested in running for next year’s Student Council President are asked to meet in Student Services a 12:00 for a very important meeting.
  • The Colonel Gray “Stand Tall For Nepal”Campaign that raised $750 was matched by the Canadian Government, that took our total to over $1500 Way to go Colonels!
  • Cafeteria Specials today are Beef Fajiita, rice & veggies $5 or Chicken nuggets & fries $5.

  • The Colonel Gray Girl’s Softball Team stayed undefeated with a 14-4 win against Souris High yesterday.  Megan Doucette tossed the win. Jada Yeo had a 3 run homer and Sarah Murphy hit a triple.  The girls play tomorrow at 5:00 p.m. vs Bluefield High at Victoria Park.
  • Any grads who buy their Prom tickets online from now until June 11 will get their name out in for a draw for 2 free prom tickets.
  • Students who have taken Economics 621A and are planning on attending Holland College in the future please contact Mr. MacLeod as he has important information for you regarding dual credit for HC’s business program.
  • Reminder of the movie today in the Lecture Theatre at lunch, popcorn sales will go towards safe grad!
  • Cafeteria Specials today are Spaghetti & meatballs, caesar salad & breadstick $5 or Taco bowl & side $5.

  • There will be a one act play today in the Lecture Theatre starring Colonel Gray’s drama class.  There is no admission charge and everyone is encouraged to come out and support your fellow classmates.  The play start promptly at 11:50.
  • Hey Colonels! The CG Thirst Quenchers will be selling their CG water bottles for $6 outside the gym Thursday & Friday during lunch.
  • Any interested students to apply to the StFX and Me To We Leadership Camp being held on campus from July 3-9. Students currently in grades 10 and 11 are invited to apply for a pretty jam-packed week of leadership training and personal development.Contact student services for more info.
  • UPEI Cari Pool representatives will be at Student Services today from 11;40 – 12:20.  If you are interested in upcoming training opportunities before the summer and filling out an applications for life guarding please attend.
  • Mr. MacDougall’s leadership class will be playing a free movie (The Blind Side) in the Lecture Theatre at lunch on Thursday & Friday…..they will be selling popcorn as well with proceeds going to Safegrad! All are welcome.
  • There will be Jesus At Gray today in room 151, new members are always welcome!
  • Ms Bovaird will be teaching a make-up lesson at 11:50 today for all students who missed DRAFTING class yesterday for visits to the courthouse or for the Unit Track and Field event.  Please ensure you attend this drafting session if you missed class on Tuesday.
  • Cafeteria Specials today are Philly cheese steak, veggie & wedges $5 or Chicken Burger combo $5.

  • The Colonel Gray Girl’s Softball Team defeated Montague 5-1 yesterday.  Jada Yeo got the win.  Top batters were Ashley McBain and Jamie Vaive. The girl’s play Souris tomorrow and Bluefield Friday at Victoria Park.

  • Attention grads:  If you would like to help plan the celebration service for graduation, come to Room 213 Tuesday at 12:00.  If you can’t attend, but want to be involved, please see Mrs. Cutcliffe.
  • The women’s rugby team takes on Rural today at 5:00 pm followed by the Men’s rugby team hitting the pitch at 6:00pm.
    Come out and support your colonels as they look to continue their momentum into the post season.
  • Boys softball play today vs Souris at 5pm at City Diamond.
  • Cafeteria Specials today are BBQ pulled pork on a kaiser with wedges & veggies $5 or Garlic slice & small white milk $3.

  • The A girls rugby team had their first win of the season, defeating Bluefield 22-10 and 31-5. Congratulations ladies!
  • There will be a full Safe Grad Committee today at noon in Mrs. Bradley’s room 210. All grade ten and eleven students who signed up should come to hear the plans for the next three weeks. All executive members are expected to be in attendance.

  • Any student interested in volunteering at Prince Street School for their annual fund raiser on Friday, June 5th between 5:15 – 7:30 p.m., should sign up in Student Services.  Details are on the bulletin board outside Mr. Cox’s office.

  • Cafeteria Specials today are Chicken Quesadilla, rice & veggies $5, Slice of pizza & side $5 or Cheese nachos $3.50.

  • Congratulations to the Colonel Gray Girls Softball Team who defeated Ch’town Rural 8-2 yesterday. Jada Yeo got the win. Sarah Murphy hit a home run and Ashley McBain had a triple. Their next game is Friday at 5:00 against Morell at Victoria Park.
  • Men’s AAA Rugby put a beat down on TOSH 46-3. They play Rural on Monday May 25th.
  • Boys softball practice at 3:45 today at city diamond.
  • Don’t forget Colonels, there is Jesus at Gray today, so show your spirit and come on down to room 151.
  • Lunch time today come4 buy a Colonel Gray water bottle down at the gym. Only $6….Let us be the first to quench your thirst!
  • Board-game club will meet after school in room 215.
  • It’s going to be a night of laughs, memories, fancy attire and of course one of the last times to be together as one Colonel community. The graymies this Friday 7-9pm.
  • Today at 10:30 some Student Council and Key Club reps, along with some students from Nepal will be going around to all the classes and collecting a Toonie or any change you have in support of Nepal. We would like the students of each class to stand up when the group knocks on the door.  The class that donates the most to the cause will receive a pizza party from Dominos Pizza and Student Council.
  • Cafeteria Specials today are Sweet & Sour meatballs on rice & corn $5 or popcorn chicken bowl $3.50.

  • The Cari Complex is looking for some staff and have some upcoming training opportunities.  Representatives will be at Colonel Gray today from 11:40 – 12:25 at Student Services.
  • The 2015 graduating class will meet in the lecture theatre during block C on Thursday, May 21st to hear the valedictorian candidates give their presentation on why they should represent this class as valedictorian.  Voting will follow to determine the 2015 Valedictorian.  This meeting is also an information meeting for all potential grads.
  • Key Club Meeting today at lunch.
  • Tomorrow at 10:30 some Student Council and Key Club reps, along with some students from Nepal will be going around to all the classes and collecting a Toonie or any change you have in support of Nepal.   • Girls Rugby today at 5pm….Boys Rugby today at 6pm.

  • There will be no Full Safe Grad meeting today!!

  • Saint Francis Xavier University will be hosting a Me To We leadership camp this summer on our campus! The camp will run July 3-9. Students currently in grade 10 and 11 can apply by contacting student services, or via this link:
