Our Grade 10 Registration will now take place at Queen Charlotte. This Thursday, April 3 will be a regular day of classes for all Grade 9 students. Grade 10 registration will take place on Thursday in our school library at the regularly set times, starting at 8:30. Parents will be asked to enter the school through our triple doors on the Simmons side parking lot and proceed to the library. Our home room teachers will be there along with Colonel Gray staff and all students will join their parents for their meetings and then return to class. Administration will help direct parents to the library.   • Grade 10 or 11 students who are interested in attending the Math Camp at U.P.E.I. should see Mr. MacDonald in room 141 for more details.  This camp is free and takes place the first weekend of May.
  • Class of 2014, it is time to order your class rings with Jostens, a sales rep will be here on Thursday and Friday this week during lunch. All you need to get started is a $60 down payment. Come check out all the bling!
  • GSA meeting today at lunch.

  • There is a volleyball tryout this Tuesday at 730 for any guys interested in playing club volleyball this spring.
  • If any students are interested in writing the Chemical Institute of Canada’s 2014 Canadian Chemistry Contest (CCC) or the Canadian Chemistry Olympiad (CCO) for high school students could they let Mrs Mitchell know by the end of the day today. These exams will take place on Monday, April 14.
  • Yearbook today at lunch in room 153.
  • Badminton tryouts continue this week. Today at 3:30 in the gym and the rest of the week at 4:30 at Queen Charlotte.
  • Yearbook meeting on Wednesday at Lunch.

Because of the change in timing of the information sessions, placement decisions are not going to be made before registration.  Therefore, students who are considering pre-IB/IB should register for pre-IB courses on their school’s scheduled registration day.  If a student decides that he/she no longer wants to be considered for pre-IB classes, or if he/she is not selected for the pre-IB programme, his or her courses will be switched to the same provincial courses.
