• The Public library is looking for students age 12 to 17 who would like to volunteer to help seniors with their social media problems and questions. If this interests you, please call the circulation desk at 368-4642.

• It is semi-final week for our basketball teams. Today we have a double header as our boys play Westisle at 6:00 and our girls play at 8:00. Both games are at Holland College. Friday at 2:00 our AA girls play Montague. Put on your burgundy and gray and come cheer on our teams!!!

• A representative from the Bank of Canada will be at Colonel Gray on Tuesday, March 4 (Day 2) to speak to students in ECO621A – Economics.
– Block A (10:25 – 11:40) Lecture Theater
– Block C (1:55 – 3:10) Lecture Theater
Allan Paquet (Senior Analyst, Bank of Canada, Atlantic Regional Office) will be speaking on the topics of Canada’s economy and money. There will be time at the end for questions from the audience.

• Any student interested in becoming a Red Cross Water Safety Instructor at day camp this summer should check the sheet in Student Services for more contact information.

• Reminder to students auditioning for Drama, those who were scheduled to go last Thursday, will go after school today. Auditions are in the lecture theatre.

• Anyone interested in being Prom Co-Chair are asked to pick up an application form at the office and hand it in to Mrs. Costello or Mrs. Spidel for Wed. March 5th.

• Yearbook Meeting today at lunch in room 153 All members please attend!

• There is a quick GSA meeting today at lunch, All members please! At the beginning of lunch.

• There will be a FULL Safe Grad Committee meeting today – Thursday—in Mrs. Bradley’s room at 12:00 noon; All members are requested to attend.

• There will be Chess Club today in Mr. MacCormack’s room. Bring your lunch!

• Free The Children Meeting today at lunch in room 120.

  • A rep from Bishop’s University will be in Student Services during lunch time today.

  •   Notice to students auditioning for Drama, those scheduled to audition last Wednesday will go this Wednesday. Those scheduled to go last Thursday will go this Thursday.  If you are interested in auditioning but still have not signed up for a time slot see Mr.Petrie as soon as possible.

  • SKILLS CANADA BULLETIN – any student wishing to represent Colonel Gray in the Graphic Design, Animation or Video Production at the Provincial Skills Canada competitions in March is asked to see Ms Bovaird as soon as possible.  The deadline to enter is now MONDAY, Feb 24 – spaces will fill up quickly. 

  

  • Notice to students auditioning for Drama, those scheduled to audition this Wednesday will go nest Wednesday. Those scheduled to go yesterday will go next Thursday.  Auditions will go ahead as scheduled for today.   • Grad Photo retakes and anyone who hasn’t had them done are next week.  See Megan Poole to book an app.

 

  • A rep from St. Thomas University will be Student Services Wednesday during lunch time. They will be doing on the spot admissions.

 

  • Students are reminded of drama auditions after school today in the lecture theatre.  If there are students who have not signed up for a time, but want to, the sign-up sheet is on the door of Room 209.

  • If you are considering attending UPEI in Sept, plan to attend an information session (programs, bursaries, prerequisites) in room 139 during lunch on Today.
  • Key Club will be selling candy grams today at lunch for .50cents each!!
  • There will be a meeting for students interested in taking part in a play for the drama festival, on Friday at 11:45 in room 209
  •  The intramural indoor soccer championship is today at noon.  The Ducks will try to knock off the undefeated Manson’s Noodles.  Don’t ya dare miss it!! 
  • Today at lunch, representatives from both UPEI and Oulton College will be at the school.  Room 139 for UPEI and Student Services for Oulton College.  Come with questions or to find out specific information.
