  • There will be a meeting for the dodgeball team captains in the lecture theater at 11:45 AM today, Thursday.
  • Two med school students will be room 139 on Friday from 11.40 – 12.30
  • There will be no badminton club tomorrow morning.
  • For any players who want to start playing badminton before the season starts, there will be practice times available over the Christmas break from 5 – 7 pm most nights. See Mr. Lowther if you would like more information.

  • If you are considering medicine as a career you might want to attend  a presentation on Friday during lunch  in room 139.  Two medical students from Memorial University will be presenting.
  • Free the Children raffle basket at lunch in the lobby! Tickets are 1 for $2 or 3 for $5! It will be a great present for mothers with a vlaue of $120!! Come out and buy your ticket today!
  • Jr. Achievement – there will be no one available for after school program but Alex Davidson will be avaialble by phone.
  • All girls interested in going to the Nike Track and Field Grand Prix meet in room 209 at 12:15.

  • 2nd Jazz today at lunch.  Attendance is mandatory.
  • All girls interested in attending the Nike Grand Prix track and field meet in May must attend a mandatory meeting in room 209 tomorrow at 11:45.
  • KEY Club will be selling candy grams in the cafeteria today at lunch for .50cents each.
  • Free the Children raffle basket today at lunch in the lobby. This would be a perfect gift for mothers with a value of $120!! Tickets are 1 for $2 or 3 for $5! A lucky winner wil be picked on Thursday!

Coffee House – Local Musicians/Students Raise Funds for CBC Turkey Drive

Colonel Gray Student Laura Mohan and a cast of talented Island Musicians volunteered their time and talent on Wednesday, December 11th to help with the Colonel Gray Coffee House.
The event, run by Colonel Gray Leadership 801X students, was the final fundraiser in their Turkey Drive campaign. It is estimated that Mr. Petrie and Mr. MacDonald’s classes have combined to raise enough funds to purchase approximately 125 Turkeys.
